Yes, as everyone said as long as you keep to your calorie allowance. I always leave calories for chocolate, just a pointer though: I usually leave it until last thing at night, or late evening. I find that if you eat it early on it leaves you hungry throughout the day as it uses up such a large portion of your calories. I see it as a reward for being good all day, and for saving my calories for it! Goodluck! |

Age:23 yr old female Height: 5'4 Highest weight: 143 Lowest weight: 125 (2 months ago) Current weight: 132 Goal weight: 120 calories: 1200, but more on gym days. I started properly on monday, and hasn't been going great to be honest my stomach is grumbling as we speak :( I am so easily led by friends, when they want to eat fast food or have ice cream. I just can't say no!

I am exactly the same, although i've been like this for 3 weeks...and the damage is starting to show! I don't get it either..I used to love working out, but I seem t put it off, and i've I eat things I shouldn't I just think it's a one off..but it never is! I am making a conscience attempt tomorrow though: I have bought all my healthy food, and decided I will start with a less intense gym routine so I won't dread going back and work up to what I was doing before. Thats the only advice I can think off at the moment, I'll keep to posted to see if it works! |

I pretty much lost a stone within 2 months on this, but I didn't know it existed until I found found it in the net: I just thought I created my own diet!. I ate nothing but fruit (as much as you want)/coffee/diet coke all day then had a large, healthyish meal for dinner. So it isn't exactly binging at night: that wouldn't work. |

Vegetariangeek, yeah I do feel pretty different, for the better too! Its not that 143 is a lot, but it is for me as im always about 9st - 9 1/2st so it was such a shock! Im hoping 120 will make me between a uk6 - uk8, I tend to go more for clothes size than weight and if it looks good! So it will be interesting to see what 120 looks like! Is anyone 5"4 and 120, to see what that weight looks like?

Sourapple, we are very similar! lol! I've been having the new shape yoghurts that have protein and fiber to keep you full, they seem to work a little anyway! I find apples together with diet coke fill me up when i'm hungry between meals!Jbartl, you're sooo lucky starting off at 129, you seem like you're almost at 120, it seems to be so hard shifting the last few lbs! Yeah, I didn't think 120 was a bad weight at all, according to the bmi calculator anyway! Jay, don't worry hun I was 143 (which is most i've EVER been) about 10 weeks ago, which made me do something about it! You are less than that, it won't take you long at all! I dont know about all of you, but I find it hardest when ppl around me are eating cakes and puddings, its so hard to be healthy! My uk10's were starting to get tights, it was hell finding anything to wear cos i hardly fitted anything that I had! That was about 2 months ago, although I lost it in about 5 weeks I think. It feels good to be a size 8, I would like to be a 6 but I would need to see what that size looks on me as i havnt been that size since I was 16. We can do this!x |

Hey! Im in the same situation! Im 5"4, wanting to get down to 120, maybe lower it really depends what 120 looks like! I'm currently 129, and a uk size 8 although in some stores they are slightly tight! I'd like to be between a uk6 and a uk8, which i think is a us2 and us4? Its soo good to know im not the only one watching ppl eat cakes etc, and have to try and resist! Its worth it though! I was 143 2 months ago, was noooot good! my size 10s were too small, verging on a 12! thats the heaviest ive ever been, blame vacation! But im glad as it made me do something about it, i was so shocked! |

But my bmi would be 20.6, which is in the healthy range so I don't see why it is too low? 18 or below is underweight so I would still be in the healthy range at 20.6?Hi sourapple, well im eating pretty heathy all day, lots of fruit, soup and a low fat yoghurt then having a proper meal at tea, not always healthy though but always with veg but its my treat! then maybe having some more fruit, maybe a bar of dark chocolate in the evening and a slice of toast! I try to go out running 3 times per week, and do some sit-ups, the plank too! What are you doing regards diet exercise at the moment? |
