Well, I've lost about 4 pounds in the last 9 days...but that's mostly water weight. I'm going for 2 pounds per week, looking to lose a total of about 20-25 pounds. But getting over bingeing in general is really my biggest struggle. |

I would love to join you! I'm currently 5'7" at 167 pounds. I'm ultimately looking to get down to 140 pounds, but would like to hit 150 in the next 9 weeks. I know it's aggressive and will take a lot of work, but I am leaving for Greece on September 5 to study abroad and would like to trim down before then. I've gained about 15 pounds in the last year, and NEED to get rid of this weight! I work out at least 5 days a week, but have a huge problem with binge eating--and I'm not talking about just a an extra cookie or two--I mean 6-10,000 calorie binges. I've had this problem for about 4 years, and I have yet to overcome it. Unfortunately, in the past year I've actually increased the frequency of my binges from once every month or so to weekly (hence the massive weight gain). I need to get over this issue, and I think with some support I will be able to. I'm too ashamed to tell my family/friends, so at least here it's a little anonymous. haha Okay, sorry for all the detail...but yes! Let's do it! WE CAN DO IT! |

I'm in!! 10 pounds sounds like a reasonable goal for me too (and then another 10-15 in Aug/Sept...). Hopefully posting here will give me some motivation! July 1st: 167 July 8th: 166--pretty bad weekend with the fourth and all. I wanted to lose 2, but I guess 1 is better than nothing. : / July 15th July 22nd July 29th |

Hello everyone! I don't usually post on these boards--just read them--but I thought I should maybe join a motivating group like this to help me out. I'm 5'6" and as of this morning, I weighed in at 168. I would like to get to 150 by the end of August. I just enrolled in a "boot camp" at my local health club, so hopefully that'll help with the exercise front. My biggest problem is binge eating. I've had a serious problem for the past 3 years, but it hasn't affected my weight until these last four months or so (I've gained 12 pounds). I see my weight spiraling out of control, and I need to do something NOW to stop it. I hope it's not too late to join this group... Thanks! |

Good morning everyone! Happy weigh-in day! Yesterday was a good day for me eating wise (although I didn't go for a run like I intended to). As of this morning, I'm weighing in 163.5. Can't wait to see how you're all doing! |
