i'm no diet expert, just like you struggling with a slow weight loss, here's  the conflict, when i joined a weight loss club, yes it was expected to lose 1-2 lbs a week, the weight did come off quickly, but hey ho, it went back on quickly.

i gave that up, then went to see a diet nutritionist at the hospital, she changed my life, it was not diet sheets, it was looking at what and why i eat, she wanted me to lose 2lbs, a MONTH!!  my heart sank, this was going to take a hundred years!! it was clear i had to eat more to lose more, move more, i lost 2 stone over a long time , i am like you,  stuck, same weight for the last 3 months, BUT  i have not gained a pound of that 2 stone i lost over time, it has stayed off. this is not a good of the year for diets, but do not not be put off, if you are losing 2lb a month, it will stay off forever, check you are eating your maximum calorie allowance each day, your body could be storing the fat as you are not eating enough calories!  

dont give up a little loss is better than any gain,
