That's how I felt! My ex was around 5'11", maybe even taller, and he was a nerd and a total beanpole. Weighed the same, even like two pounds less than I did at 5'8" >.< |

I started playing tennis when I was around three. I grew up to play pro junior tennis. I'm right-handed, so the dominant hand that I grip the racquet with is my right. I've noticed that if I line up both my hands, the fingers of my right hand are longer than the fingers of my left hand by one centimeter. My right palm is also quite a bit more muscular and bigger/wider. |

| Weight Loss | Partying in MEXICO! Need help to stay on track | Jun 19 2009 17:28 (UTC) |

I posted basically the exact message as this when I went to Mexico For Christmas last year. I stayed at an all-inclusive resort (I don't know if you are as well) so I'll just write tips based off of that. For controlling food intake, since all the foods laid out buffet-style, I always filled up a plate first with fresh fruit and vegetables and ate that. That usually filled me up so I wouldn't go overboard if I wanted something more. What might cause a problem for you is the all-inclusive bars everywhere. Any drinks, all the time. I didn't have a problem with those as I don't like the taste of alcohol, but if I were you I'd just stay away from the bars >.< Sorry can't do better with this one heh Finally, don't worry too much! I found that I actually lost weight when I was there and I totally went off couting calories and what not. It's all the exercise I did; playing and running on the beach, swimming, dancing, etc. Look out for the activities they sponsor at all-inclusive resorts, such as dancing, aerobics, volleyball, etc. Hope that helped! |

I didn't have any tiny pictures so I put up pics from ads of magazines such as Vogue, Elle, etc. It doesn't really work. For the first two weeks or so I was inspired to stay on track by all the skinny models but there was no emotional connection and so eventually I stopped noticing them. It's much better to use pics of yourself |

Original Post by spirochete: Oh yeah. On Sims one, I created a game with all my different ex's living in one house. Then I put them all in a room, went into the construction mode, and took out all the doors and put in a bunch of plants. Then I turned the game back on, had one of them try to cook, he set the room on fire, and they all ran around screaming. Then a couple of them started to make out. It was awesome =D |

| Foods | SURVEY? you know the feeling when you WASTED 100 calories on a darned 100 cal pack? well, which ones aren't a waste?? | May 19 2009 02:33 (UTC) |

I personally believe that 100 cal popcorn packs are a waste of money. It's cheaper to buy a pack of the normal sized, 94% fat free, bags of popcorn, pop 'em, and divide into plastic bags, 100 cal each. I did that the other day and each bag amounts to 7 cups of popcorn (which is a lot!) =D |

| Young Calorie Counters | What should be my goal? | May 17 2009 20:25 (UTC) |
3 |
What I'd suggest doing is stick to your 150 goal. It's better to lose weight in small steps then all in one fell swoop, as that can actually hurt your psyche. As you get down to 150, it'll give you time to think if you want to continue, so it wouldn't hurt. As for what's good enough, it depends on the person. Perhaps your one of those people blessed with an hourglass figure, and at a certain weight you'd look divine. I guess when you look in the mirror and go "Woah..." that'll be the time to stop xD |

| Weight Loss | Whats your daily exercise and eating regime!? | May 12 2009 02:37 (UTC) |

I'm 5'8" and I eat around 1400 cals a day. Currently I don't have time to exercise at all (AP exams, finals, it's waaaay stressful) but when I do I usually go biking, like I'm about to go do now. I also do stomach toning exercises to get ready for summer. |

| Motivation | 5'7 and over gals! | May 07 2009 00:21 (UTC) |
|
Hey I'm 5'8" and I weigh around 130-132. I'm down from around 150, which is pretty amazing for me (I used to play junior pro tennis, had to quit, and ballooned from 140 with muscles to 150 with less muscles). For jeans, I have a huge problem. If I get them long enough, they sag at the butt/hips and I'm constantly pulling them off. I'm not a big fan of belts either, so I was actually thinking of sewing in an elastic band xD. I'm pear-shaped, so skinny jeans are also a no go on me. Amazingly enough, I found a pair of size 5 jeans at Hollister (bleh store, I know, but I was jeans desperate) that are boot-cut and very flattering. They also nearly perfectly fit me, although there's still a little sag, but oh well. Can't have everything! Hmmm... great 400 calorie meals... I usually never eat 400 calories in one sitting as I'm more of a constant snacker (200 cal for breakfast, around 250 for lunch). Night time is when I eat the most calories, so for dinner I'm looking at around 300-400. I love to make cabbage - just stir-fry it up in a pan with maybe some chopped tomatos in there. It's 35 calories for a whole cup, and 2 cups will stuff you! I'm also a big fan of roasted chicken breast, buckwheat, and unfortunately, Ikea's meatballs (6 for 200 calories! They can fill you up well!). Any of those are healthy low-cal options (except maybe Ikea, lol) You can try looking at the recipes on Calorie Count itself, here's another website: |
