So intent on my doing my EVIL GEENIE BEST I forgot my wish.

I wish the "thorn in my foot" in the office would go for a nice long holiday, or find another job!!

Ala Kabam!! your wish is granted, all your cluter disapears into drawers and cupboards, prior to  your clutter being put away all the doors and drawers are painted with glue by THE EVIL GEENIE and when you close them cannot open them again, cannot retrieve stuff when you want it, so have to take an axe to the furniture to get the stuff out and then have to buy all new furniture.

PS, you obviously know my husband!!

Hi all

Thanks for the congrats runningbuns, I am still binge free, despite one of my daughters telling me she is going to marry a Libyian and go to Libya to live.  I spent the last couple of days crying, but kept telling myself that I would not feel happier if I binged, even this evening I feelt like raiding the fridge so I logged on and here I am.  My downfall is biscuits(cookies to the people in the US) bread, ice cream OK anything with flour fat and sugar. Hi carb stuff. why does this make me feel good.  I like the Idea of a target of 30 days, but, I don't think I want to graduate from this site, thread or whatever the terminology is.  It is this that is keeping me going.  I also feel that if we keep posting when we are binge free, then the "new people" will see that it is possible.

I have lost a total of 4pounds, not a lot but enough to keep me going. I have stopped calorie counting as I was getting obssesed with my weight, that could drive me to a binge. So I am now just kind to myself, try not to overeat, try to have a little walk each day. and when I feel down, log onto this site.

Thank you all once again, for keeping me going and congrats to all.  A person doesn't fail until they give up and stop trying, by coming back means that you are succeding, even if it is your 1st day or even your 1st hour or minute, you are succeding at beating this. Keep up the good work.

Bye now.

I the most heinious (hope I spelt it correctly) will grant you your wish, but the interior decorator of your choice is going through his goth x emo period and turned your home into a cross between a vampires lair and a padded cell.

I wish that my hubby would complete all the diy jobs around the houseKiss

Hi all.

I am still here and binge free thank goodness. Todaywastomorrow, good idea. Felt myself weakening this evening (always my problem time) but kept imagining how bad I would feel afterwards if I broke my diet and binged.  I did weigh myself again, I couldn't keep off the scales. I think the weight gain was fluid as it seems to be going down again.  Its horrible being so obsessed with your weight all the time.

I don't have Thanksgiving as I live in Ireland, so that is one thing less to contend with, but all of you who do have thanksgiving have a great day and if I can do it with the help of you guys, anyone can.  Even if I don't do it make it today, I can always restart.  That is by no means a statement to say that I am giving in, just that if I do have a moment of insanity, I will forgive myself.

bye for now.

Hi All

Yes I am still here, will go to bed in a minute, felt my willpower sliping today and needed all my willpower to stick to my diet, bad day at work.

My weight on the scales has increased, even though I have weighed everything I eat, this has happened to me before, I was on a crazy calorie shifting diet for about 7 days before finding CC, I think that is the reason. so I am not going to weigh myself for a few days and hope when I get back on the scales it will be ok ( now I need the willpower to stay of the scales)

If I binge I will only feel better for a short time, and feel disgusted afterwards. That is my mantra.

Keep going, Keep Strong.

Hi all

OK so far, days not over though but I will be going to bed soon.

Why are we so hard on ourselves.  I read somwhere on one of those diet sites, that we binge when we are unhappy, to make ourselves feel better but it only makes us feel worse. Every time I feel like binging I recall how I feel after a binge, and for that split second in time I can persuade myself that I feel better now than I will do if I binge.  So far it has worked.  Plus this site, I only binge in the evening watching TV, now I go onto this forum and look at all the different groups.

Stay strong everyone and for those of you who do have a minor lapse, be good to yourself and forgive yourself.
