It MAY be something with your equalibrian..But I would just start off my gradually increasing the speed...When I started out 3 MPH seemed fast for me...Now I'm running 5 MPH for a mile and I hope to increase the speed more...Like I said,I would just work up to it.

Pregnancy & Parenting New here....wanting to lose pregnancy weight...Breastfeeding mom Nov 22 2008

I'm nursing my 5 month old son and have been losing weight since he was born..I was overweight to begin with but I've lost all my pregnancy weight PLUS an additional 10 + lbs.

I started out eating when I was hungry and then I ate about 1800 calories and have GRADUALLY lowered the amount of calories I eat...I've lost a total of at least 51 lbs now...

I would eat about 300-500  EXTRA calories from what they SAY you should and gradually reduce it.

As far as milk goes,I never drank it while I've breastfed either of my boys..I use soymilk, but I think as long as you eat healthy thats what matters.

Honestly,I think you know the main answer to this and although it isn't easy,it's really the only 'thing' that will work.

I'm not sure about your situation, but I can tell you my story.

I wanted another baby (my only child,Caleb was 2 1/2) and I knew that getting pregnant at 235 lbs wouldn't be too healthy.

So I decided that for ME I needed to eat healthier...I lost 45 + lbs in 5 months.

I felt so much better being in better shape...I struggled though since my man wasn't about to diet with me and although he 'tried' to be supportive,it was really tough drinking water while he drank soda,or munching on veggies while he devoured fried foods etc...

It comes down to YOU..What do you want for YOU.

I would talk to him about it and say that you'd appreciate him not bringing junk food in the house and maybe see if he would like to take evening walks with you after dinner.....

Good luck

Vegetarian Morning Star Farms Vs. Bocca Nov 22 2008

Morningstar actually DOES have a VEGAN patty out now..It is part of the Grillers line I think, since they have the 'prime' and original..I believe it's just the 'vegan style' one....I've boughten it and it's not bad...The only thing I don't like about alot of the Boca products is that you actually NEED to grill or bake them otherwise they are mushy.

I usually buy more morningstar then Boca

My mom is vegan and she uses either PLAIN soymilk (unsweetened) or Rice milk...She makes sure she buys the VEGAN marked Smart Balance butter..I've eaten her mashed potatoes and they are the bomb.
