Hey everyone! I've posted on this forum a few times in the past and I decided to again today ! breakfast: whole wheat tortilla rolled up with peanut butter and pumpkin butter in it. 1 cup vanilla soy milk (300) ^a small breakfast but I had to hurry before church! lunch: tomato basil wrap tortilla filled with: 1/2 avocado, turkey, romaine, mushrooms, cucumbers, a little bit of shredded cheese, and 3 pepper hummus (400) a cup or more of 1% milk (100) snack: medium apple (95) with 1 tbsp. PB (100) 8 soy crisps (50) dinner: homemade turkey chili! (around 500?) glass of milk (100) (I have no idea what the nutrition facts are for this because it is my dad's recipe. but it is made of all natural ingredients. it is LOADED with black beans. and we recently changed the recipe from beef to turkey to make it less fatty :) future: snack: granola bar of some kind (maybe lara or pure?) (180-220) total: 1845 workout: 35 minutes on elliptical |

agru: I am upping my calories to around 3000 calories because I have field hockey practice 5 days a week for 2 hours and games too. I am going to the doctor on friday and will weigh in and talk with her about my progress Yesterday's food: we drove home from st. louis which is a 7 hour drive... so i was pretty sedentary all day except for occasionally stopping to go to the bathroom with the team haha continental breakfast: 2 packets instant plain oatmeal with skim milk with jam, 2 hard boiled egg whites, a banana, an apple (535) lunch: 6 inch subway sandwich: wheat bread, turkey, provolone, spinach, lettuce, cucumber, onion, and mustard. a dannon light and fit strawberry yogurt, apples (465) snack: around 40 soy crisps, ice cream sandwich (340) dinner: 2 homemade tuna tacos (flour tortillas, black beans, pico de gallo, tuna, avocado), plus about 1/2 cup of black beans on the side, a glass of milk (800) snack: crunchy peanut butter clif bar, about 4 tbsp of peanut butter.... I was in a peanut butter mode and needed some calories (630) = around 2735

Hey guys! I haven't been able to post for the past couple days because my team had a field hockey tournament in St. Louis. It was a lot of fun and I am positive that I ate enough food, which I am very proud of. Here is my menu for today: breakfast: 1 cup milk, 1 banana, 1/2 cup oatmeal, 2 egg whites, a mini bagel (450) snack: chai tea luna bar (180) in between our two games we went to chipotle for lunch and it was delicious!! lunch: burrito bowl with: black beans, cheese, guacamole, lettuce, cilantro-lime rice, salsa, and chicken (715) snack: around 40 soy crisps. haha our team was eating out of a big bag (200) snaack: two oatmeal cookies (150) dinner: asian chicken salad at uno's. (550) and two bread sticks (200) and then our team shared three desserts! we had a brownie bowl, giant peanut butter cup topped with ice cream, and a hot apple pie crumble. it was delicious. I have no idea how many calories were in this.... but I decided not to count it because I don't want to have to worry about it. It was fun eating them with the team and who cares how many calories? snacK: cashew cookie lara bar (210) = around 3000 w/o the dessert |

Hey I had practically the same stats a couple months ago except I am 5'7". Now I currently weigh around 110, which is still low. but it is really important to have your parents understand your situation. If they want to know what you are eating, perhaps you could make a meal plan with them for the day that totals to over 2,500. Therefore, you could spread out the calories rather than eating most of them at night. Eat every 2-3 hours and make sure to have a snack in between your sports practices! |

Hey everyone! Yesterday I had another field hockey game and I'm sad to say that I don't think I ate enough calories to gain :( I play midfield so its a constant running up and down the field for an hour. I am quite disappointed that I didn't get over 3000.... breakfast: 1/2 cup oats with 1 cup vanilla soy milk, 1 tbsp PB, 1 tbsp flax seeds, 1 banana (500) lunch: a black bean veggie burger on a ww bun with mustard and lettuce. 1 cup 2% milk. apple w/ PB (600) snack: 1/4 cup walnuts, 1 cup grapes, chocolate chip clif bar, soy crisps (550ish) dinner: salad ( romaine, feta cheese, chicken breast, honey mustard salad dressing, avocado, A LOT of corn) milk (500) dessert: 2 powdered almond cookies (150) snack: ice cream sandwich, Clif Mojo bar (dipped! peanut butter and jelly) (360) ^ i saw those clif dipped mojo bars and tried it yesterday and it was ok. I like the peanut butter and jelly lara bars MUCH better :) mmmmm =2660 :( oh boy.... not enough. today I am going to do much better!! I am going to a custard place with my field hockey team and plan on getting caramel cashew :) |

Hey everyone! Today I kinda started school. I just have AP Physics every morning, but still I am sad that summer is over! I have to get used to a new routine now with school and everything. Plus I had a field hockey game today. It was against the state champions and we lost 3-1 :(. I played mid-field, so I ran A LOT. I ate a ton at dinner to compensate for this. It was a really fun/tiring game though! breakfast: vanilla yogurt with 1 cup kashi go lean crunch, blueberries, a banana and flax seeds (500) lunch: cup of milk, 2 slices ww bread, 2 tbsp peanut butter, soy crisps (600) snack: cup of grapes, peach, and s'mores luna bar (300) dinner: 1 1/2 pieces of my mom's zucchini quiche (the zucchini was from our own garden and was delicious!!), a foot long cheesy bread stink (no joke!!), a cup of milk, carrots (650) dessert: chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream (140) snack: cashew cookie lara bar, pretzels (260) = roughly 2500 will probably have some trail mix because i just realized that I have not had enough!!! ahhhhhh I thought I was doing so good until I added up all the calories :( This is definately not enough when I was running so hard during the game and burning a ton of calories. so hopefully around 2700 by the end of the day. I need more though... but I am already so full. |

Yesterday I had a dad/daughter day because all summer my dad has been away, and when he has been home I have been at camps. We went down to Chicago and spent the day together. breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 cup soymilk, 1 tbsp PB, 1 tbsp flax seeds, watermelon (450) lunch: wrap (tomato basil tortilla, red pepper hummus, lettuce, turkey, cheese, cucumber, avocado) (400) snack: cookies n' cream ice cream in a cone at the museum! delicious. Plus they really put a TON on top of the cone. It seemed like 2 scoops.(450) for dinner we went to an Italian restaurant downtown and it was gooooood. dinner: 2 pieces of bread dipped in olive oil, gnocchi in a marinara sauce (ok so I have to rant about this sauce. the dumplings were sitting on top of a VERY THIN layer of marinara. BUT it seemed as if they poured butter on top of the dumplings. so as I was eating the gnocchi, the marinara and the butter was mixing. It was kind of freaking me out because I really don't like butter! But I got over it and just tried to avoid the butter and ate all the dumplings_ (1000?) I have no idea about the calories. Help? dessert: my dad and I shared a gelato platter. We got to pick 3 flavors and we got little scoops of each. We picked vanilla, cherry, and espresso (the espresso was my favorite) (100) I was soooo full after this dinner, but we had like a 2 hour drive home so by the time we were back I had a snack. snack at home: white chocolate macadamia nut clif bar (240) = around 2700 I have no idea how many calories were in my dinner with all the butter and olive oil. I really don't even care! It was so good |

Yesterday I worked at my school's freshman orientation and I was kinda freaked out because they did not have any good food there. I sucked it up though and ate a lot because I had a field hockey game right after. I actually had an amazing game and I contribute it to the fact that I ate "non-ED" foods. (you'll see below) Yesterday's eats: breakfast: 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 cup vanilla soy milk, 1 1/2 tbsp. peanut butter, 1 banana, 1 tbsp. flax seeds snack: doughnut with frosting and sprinkles on top and orange juice... mmm it was delicious lunch: two slices of pizza hut veggie pizza snack: a Long John doughnut with chocolate frosting snack: crunchy peanut butter clif bar, trail mix kashi bar dinner: (at Noodles and Company with the team after our victory) whole grain tuscan linguine with chicken breast on top and extra veggies snack: peanut butter and jelly lara bar |

ahh big day today breakfast: peach lowfat yogurt with flax, blueberries, kashi go lean crunch, and banana. milk my dad's brother and family came over for lunch to celebrate my grandpa's birthday... so I made a lemon velvet cake from scratch with the most delicious frosting snack: ate most of the leftover frosting that didn't end up on the cake haha lunch: hamburger, german potato salad, a bunch of baked lays snack: lemon velvet cake!! dinner: turkey hummus wrap with avocado, tomato basil wrap, roasted red pepper hummus, cheese, cucumber snack: popcorn, cookie dough ice cream, s'mores luna bar |

at Whole Foods they have their 356 brand.... They have Soy Crispettes! They are full of protein and are 120 calories for 21 of them! Plus they are delicious... They have a sea salt flavor which is my favorite |

I LOVE lara bars. My favorite is cashew cookie and banana bread. They are delicious. Today I went to Whole Foods and they had a new flavor! PEANUT BUTTER AND JELLY. it was DELICIOUS. I definately recommend it and it tastes exactly like pb&j. I also like Luna bars. My fave is s'mores and chai tea. |

breakfast: oatmeal made with vanilla soy milk, peanut butter, flax seeds, blueberries lunch: I went to panera with my grandpa and had..... 1/2 mediterranean veggie sandwich, 1/2 summer corn chowder, small apple snack: kashi TLC trail mix bar, sundried tomato and basil wheat thins, rice cakes with red pepper hummus dinner: wrap with tomato basil tortilla, avocado, turkey, lettuce, cucumber, cheese, red pepper hummus, and a BIGGG glass of 1% milk, and some soy crisps (mmmm thsoe were yummy!) snack: vanilla frozen yogurt, clif bar I think I did pretty well today. |

Hey guys. I randomly post my meals when I have the time. Today was a big step for me. I went to the Wisconsin State Fair... and you know what kind of food they have there. JUNK! They have about 50 different foods that are fried or on a stick. I had a great time with my friends and actually ate some of the food there for lunch. breakfast: banana vanilla lowfat yogurt with granola and blueberries. lunch: 1 cup strawberry milk ($.25 !!!), 1 cup root beer milk, deep fried mac and cheese on a stick, baked potato with salsa and cheese on top, cheese curds (a traditional wisconsin food lol) first of all... I haven't had mac and cheese in probably a year and it was delicious. Second, I haven't had fried food in ages (before ED). This was a big step in my recovery mentally. It was delicious and I am VERY glad that I ate it. snack: pretzels with pb dinner: salad with lettuce from our garden!, corn, green beans, hard boiled egg, chicken breast, honey mustard dressing, feta cheese, cucumber dessert: chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream snack: clif bar and almonds
I am so happy with my food today... I didn't count the calories becasue today was a fun day and I am sure that I am over 2500.... the fried mac and cheese was probably A LOT advise to people.... DON'T LET YOUR ED GET IN THE WAY OF HAVING A GOOD TIME. I feel so happy right now. |

Hi guys! I posted on here once before. I went to camp right after, so I haven't posted in a month. I am trying to gain a few pounds because I am currently 108 lbs. at 5'6". I just want to be at a healthier weight (around 115-120). I try to eat more than 2000 calories a day. before run: 1 rice cake, 3/4 cup Kashi Honey Sunshine cereal (135) breakfast : 1/2 cup Quaker oats, 1 cup vanilla soy milk, banana, 1 tsp flax (375) lunch: sandwich (2 slices ww bread, 2 pieces of turkey, provolone, 2 tbsp. hummus, lettuce, cucumbers) 1 1/2 cups milk (520) snack: 1/4 cup walnuts, nutz over chocolate luna bar, 1 tbsp. pb, 15 small pretzels (575) dinner: meatloaf on a ww bun, carrots and cucumbers with hummus (500?) snack: 1 cup chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream (280) total: 2,385 |

breakfast: greek yogurt with blueberries and granola. plus some kashi honey sunshine cereal on the side lunch: turkey wrap (tomato basil tortilla, 2 TBS hummus, turkey, lettuce, cucumbers) a glass of milk snack: I was playing field hockey with my friend and I only had a peanut butter cookie luna bar on me. So I didn't really have a high cal snack at all :( dinner: we tried a new recipe! its baked penne with corn, zucchini and basil. Go on the williams & sonoma website for it. it was absolutely delicious and I cannot wait to make it again. It is kind of tedious and makes a lot of dishes, but it is worth it! snack: chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. nutz over chocolate luna bar. fruit leather.
I wish I would have gotten more fruit in today! ... O well. I hope to be done gaining and get my period by the end of july hopefully! My fingers are crossed.... |

Hey guys! This is my second post on here. (My last one being like a month ago!) I have gained 5 pounds since then. breakfast - vanilla yogurt with blueberries and granola mixed in, a glass of milk, some watermelon on the side lunch - went to a restaurant with my mom and had a chicken club sandwich (multigrain bread, chicken breast, mustard, lettuce, and tomatoes) with a side of steamed broccoli. plus I had some Italian wedding soup as an appetizer. snack - peanut butter cookie luna bar snack - red vines and mike and ike's in the car! dinner - hamburger with ketchup and mustard on a WW bun. veggies on the side (carrots and cucumbers), big glass of milk snack - ice cream sandwich, peanut butter on pretzels (yummm) |

I love to run outside. I hate an ipod shuffle and I just clip it to my shorts. I run quite a distance from my house, and then I take a different way home in order to not get bored of seeing the same roads again. It is quite fun to enjoy the scenery.
It is 1000x better than running on the treadmill! |

Ah thank you ! I just ate a whole bunch of almonds :) Hopefully I will gain some weight without bloating.... the whole reason I got to this low of a weight was because I was so self-conscious about a little bit of tummy fat showing through a tshirt. I guess I have to get over that? haha. |

chocolate pudding is delicious! the fat free kind is 80 calories, and you can dip anything in it. It may not be the healthiest, but I find it to satiate my daily chocolate fix. |
