Hey everyone! I too am hitting a wall it seems. I managed to squeek out just 0.2 lbs lost this week. Discouraging, but I'm not giving up. The last 4 days have been very busy and I skipped working out. Yesterday I got back in the game and the kids are actually going to school today after the snow storm that just dumped on us (central OH) so I can hit the gym this afternoon! I do so much better with real people to work out with unstead of the Wii Fit trainers or watching Dr. Phil! Keep up the good work crew! We are all BIG LOSERS!!! |

Hi Papa, glad to see you back on the BB this week! I thought about trying Alli a year ago, but thought I'd save the $$ and try it "the old-fashioned way" first...plain old diet and exercise. |

Hey Orange teammates! How's everyone doing over the weekend? Mondays are always hard for me to get back into after having hubby and kids around all weekend tempting me "I want to make choc chip cookies" and complaining "what kind of dinner is THIS, I'm not eating it" But I love seeing that scale inch downward bit by bit! Stay motivated everyone. Orange team is on one heck of a hot streak!!! |

Hi teammates! Just checkin' in with everyone. I had an off day yesterday and can't seem to get back in the groove. The scale is still showing a 2# loss for me so far, hopefully I can maintain that for another 24 hrs or so until tomorrow's weigh in. I feel chocolate craviings creeping up on me so I need some motivation guys!! So instead I just came home from a short shopping trip to get some new workout clothes. Hey Team Orange!! Hope everyone is finding a way to MOVE IT MOVE IT!! Even if it's just up and down the stairs a few extra times, every little bit helps burn those calories. I did a quick scan of our Team Orange members, and combined we are down about 25 pounds for the week!!!! And that's not counting 5 members whom I may have missed or haven't posted quite yet!! keep up the great work teammates!!! Jodifer: I'm confused too about what the best balance of carbs, protein, fat is for weight loss. I've decided that I'm not going to worry about that too much right now, and just concentrate on calories down/activity up to get started. Those who are farther along on the weight loss journey could probably offer better insight. M |

How's everyone doing this week?? Don't forget weigh-ins start tomorrow!! I've managed to do at least 30 min of cardio every day since Jan 1. And I'm finally over the "hump" of feeling like I'm starving on only 1600 cal/day. Every time I try to cut calories, I go through about 4 days of feeling like I'm hungry all of the time. Anyone else experience that? Dummie, I know what you mean about bodies being weird. I've been trying real hard this week and as of last night it looked like I had actually gained a pound over the last 6 days. Then I get on the scale today and I'm down a pound and a half from my week 0 weight! I think I'm going to have to put away my scale and only weigh myself on weigh-in days. I'm getting too obsessed with the day-to-day weight fluctuations.

My favorite is "fried" chicken. I take boneless skinless chicken breasts, rinse under cold water, then coat with crushed low fat triscuits. Bake at 350 until chicken is done (170 with meat thermometer). My kids say it's the best! |
