If you're eating only 800-1,200 on non-binge days, that could explain why your body would want to binge.  You won't have much of an appetite because your body's being thrown between starving and ODing on food, so maybe planning out your day before and sticking to eating what you have planned may help.

You should also be eating way more than 1500 calories, you probably need 1500 just to be alive (google a site that will tell you your BMR) PLUS whatever you are burning throughout the day, so you probably need 2,000-2,500 just to maintain.

When you go to your doctor you should raise your concerns with him/her, and he/she should be able to help you set out a plan for what you should be eating and what you can do to help with the bingeing.  I think anything that would help with bingeing may kill your appetite completely, so that may not be the best thing.

Good luck!

Thanks!!

About your binging.
Are you eating enough?  A balance of carbs/fats/protein?
I find that when I eat 30%fats/30% proteins, that it curbs my cravings and helps with binging.

Since I do not know you age/weight/height and calorie intake it is hard to offer advice.

Have you used the tools to figure out your daily calorie needs and are you sticking to it?

My calorie count daily averages between 800 -1200 on a normal day
On a day that I do binge it is around 5,000

Age 20
Height 5'1"
Weight 95

I try to stick to 1500 a day but its hard due to a poor immune system so I tend to never be hungry unless Im binging

I had severe hypoglycemia in High School. Every morning I would get dizzy and black out then usually vomit. The nurses would give me those weight watchers protein shakes and have me carry small snacks such as trail mix and cheerios.  It also helped in the morning if I ate a cracker in bed right when I woke up.

Low Cal soups like the progressive ones are amazing when you have those crazy craving for warm fatty soups. For the whole can its 120 calories compared to the 800 my MIL makes.
