You might want to look at the Biggest Loser 30 day jump start book.

http://www.amazon.com/Biggest-Loser-30-Day-Ju mp-Start/dp/1605297828/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF 8&s=books&qid=1241359499&sr=8-1

It has a 30 day menu plan (with recipes) with a targeted 1500 calories a day.  I've tried several of the recipes and they are pretty tasty.

Good Luck

I am trying to help the OP. I think that it's important to understand that olive oil is an excellent source of fat but, if we're trying to watch calories, adding a spoonful, might be more than you think.  Perhaps the confusion is the serving size on the various bottles you are referencing.  1 tablespoon = 14 grams = 120 calories.  All the entries in the CC food logs, the web, and the 4 different bottles in my pantry confirm.  As mentioned in earlier posts, 1 teaspoon will have 40 calories.  If 1 teaspoon of oil curbs your appetite and you include those calories in your counting...then go for it.  I just agree with other posters, drizzle it on a green salad and you'll likely feel more satisfied.

Crazyperson, I shop at whole foods and olive oil has 120 calories a tablespoon,

let it go.

Thanks for posting this, it inspired me to figure out where I stand.

I've lost 33 lbs over the last 21 weeks (yeah!) which averages to 1.57 lbs/week.  After going through the math, it turns out the CC has it right on for me.  I'm consuming ~1300 day and my burn meter is with 50 calories of the CC recommendation!

Not that I think olive oil is bad - it's actually my "fat of choice" when it comes to cooking, but, I'm not sure what spoon you're using.  1 tablespoon of olive oil has about 120 calories.
