Yeah, I sympathize with you on the expense =/

Unfortunately, because I don't have access to your fridge/pantry, I can't really put together a menu for you of things that you have! You could do an exchange list instead (ie 10 servings of starches, 4 of fruits, etc). I find calorie-counting easier, but exchanges to be less triggering.

There's a good thread here on 2,500 calorie mealplans, including an exchange list: http://caloriecount.about.com/calorie-meal-pl an-ft126786

Hey there. I'm new to this forum too, but everyone here is in the same boat.

95lbs at 5'1 is still underweight at a BMI of 17.9. Granted, BMI is not always applicable to everyone, but for those recovering from an eating disorder a higher weight (to ensure against relapse) is preferred. Generally, the rule of thumb is 100lbs at 5 feet, and add 5lbs for every inch over that. So yes, 95 is okay as a short term goal, but please don't get hooked onto that number and stop there.

As for meal plans...if you don't have a nutritionist, try to get an appointment with one. If you do, listen to him/her! They will usually have the best advice on how to avoid refeeding syndrome and approaching weight gain safely. Eventually, you'll want to get to a target of 2,500 calories to gain (if you're sedentary. If you exercise, you will need to eat more). While this may seem like a high number, you have to remember that your body is severely compromised at the moment, and you will consequently need more nutrients to restore health.

That's all I've got. I'm sure you'll get more excellent advice from others here, though.

Weight Gain Gaining weigh-ins!! Feb 06 2009

Well, I've been lurking here for a little while, and figured I'd finally introduce  myself =]

Been struggling to recover from anorexia and compulsive exercising for over a year, now, since I was hospitalized. I'm relatively close to my goal weight now - 115+ lbs at 5'5 (goal set by my nutritionist and dr. I'm small-framed), but am really struggling with the last few pounds.

To make it worse, I lost weight a couple weeks ago when I went to DC to see the inauguration. It was an AWESOME (and COLD) experience, but I definitely lost control over my ED. I also got very sick while I was there, which definitely didn't help. But, thankfully, I'm back on track now, and ready to throw off this monster completely - once and for all.

So.. I weighed in this morning at 109.5lbs, up from 108 on January 25th.

Usually gaining isn't that easy for me, which leads me to believe much of the weight loss wasn't real (dehydration and whatnot). But, in any case..
