| I love chocolate and I too get cravings every once in awhile. I keep very close by a jar of NUTELLA – a chocolate hazelnut like peanut butter. For 1 tbsp = 95 calories. I find just sucking on that spoon full of Nutella works really well. Good luck! | |||

| I totally agree with Floggingsully ~ do only what your PT tells you to do! I had a total knee replacement in July and did all that my PT told me to do. At 6 weeks went back to my doctor and I had done so well that he doesn’t need to see me for a year. Even if it is painful, keep doing one more that the PT tells you to do. I plan to get back on my skies this spring (that is how I blew my knee out) ~ Take care, don’t worry about your calorie intake, worry about your knee. You are very young and you are very active. If you gain any weight, it will come off quickly as soon as you are up and running. Take care sweetie! | |||

| Guess I will have to pay more attention to the labels on food. I just looked on my yogurt and not sure I see "e-numbers". Maybe it is just in the UK. Interesting though! | |||
| Fitness | Tai Chi anyone? | Dec 30 2008 15:02 (UTC) |

| butterflypatsu ~ Last night I started on the stationary bike, did my knee exercises, and then put in the Tai Chi video. Even the beginning Tai Chi was difficult, especially when you have to raise the arms. My arms are so fat! I got depressed but I pressed on. Have been to China several times and I love looking out to see people of all ages and dress in the middle of the mall doing Tai Chi. It really is beautiful and I want to get to that stage. I weighed myself today and I have lost 2 lbs this week. I am one of those people who want it NOW. You would think by this age that I would have more patience but I don’t. Keep me posted how you are going with your Tai Chi. | |||

| In July this summer, I had to have a total knee replacement (skiing since I was 5 - I am now 60) ~ I bought a Tai Chi video and love it. At first, I felt stupid if my husband was in the same room. Now he knows to stay away while I do my thing. I was amazed at how un-balanced I was! I became depressed and stopped doing it but then thought, okay get back on track. I have been doing it for about 3 weeks now - 2 - 3 times a week and I really do love it. Their is something about the calm that takes over you and feeling grounded. I live in the mountains of Colorado and to go to any classes is a trip. I will gladly keep in contact with you ~, maybe it will get me motivated to do it on a regular basis! | |||
