It is time to mess with your amount of intake. Gotta shake up the metabolic snow globe of calorie intake so to speak. Once you ruffle your body's feathers it has no choice but to make a change in turn. If you have been keeping with the same regime you have to shake things up a bit to get past your plateau.

Trust me...I am having to shake up my metabolic snow globe since I have gained a few pounds back despite all my exercise.

I know this is going to sound strange...but buy yourself the healthiest box of cookies and have a serving a night if you find you are a lil low calorically. Remove all thought and just have a glass of (if you prefer low calorie) milk and a serving of cookies. Trust me you won't feel too bad because you researched it (girl scout cookies rock), you will have taken the time to read the labels (girl scout cookies so rock), and it is ok because if you look at all the healthy stuff you ate 10 % or less bad is not a bad thing (ok they're staring at me...I can feel it...curse you cookies...I will take my revenge on you on the weekend trust me...just have to buy the almond milk...then you are DOOMED!!!) Oh that or have a really good feta cheese, mushroom, onion and eggstart omelette...check it out...like under 200 calories and TOTALLY healthy.

Now is a great time to work with your mind and find the healthiest thing and enjoy it while knowing that you are not going to take yourself back down the old roads. But remember no guilt tripping! That's my mother's job ^_~

Also check your BMI and your measurements...I'm 5'3 and a half and my ideal is supposed to be 130-140 per the BMI. Also put your scale in the closet for a bit and just work on health and fitness...your body will tell you what weight it should be based on your fitness.

Weight Loss The benifits of giving up Cola Mar 04 2009

Let's try another approach. Here are some things posted on a web site...I removed some of the facts that were "busted" by Mythbusters.

In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a
crumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola
over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the
rusted bolt for several minutes.
To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap
the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for
sumptuous brown gravy.
To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of
greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The
Coke will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from
your windshield.

FYI:
1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric acid also bleaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
2. To carry concentrated Coke syrup, the commercial truck must use the hazardous material place cards reserved for highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of coke have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years.

Here is something that may sound out of the ordinary. Get a note pad and just write...write a fictitious story...write what is on your mind...write random thoughts...just start writing. I let my mind wander and see where it takes me on paper and that should definitely help. It is one of the tools I am using to continue to lose weight. Sometimes getting it out of your head in one frame or fashion can make a world of difference...plus you could be the next best seller ^_~

I have been eating them off and on for over a year and I love em! I have also lost 100 pounds and had several blood tests done and they all came out GREAT! They help to keep me from wanting to go to the lunch area and mounge everything in sight. The thing I take away from them is that the fibers job is to clean out the innards. However, I also eat salads so more to help clean out the pipes.

Ooohh Costco also has artichoke hearts (like 29 calories) that are wicked yummy with fiber gourmet pasta which has 18 grams of fiber and is only 130 calories. So if you are looking for an alternate for high fiber there ya go!

Usually I can just give them the "Wtf do you think you're doing?" look, and they'll back off.

Of course, there are still those who can't take a hint to save their lives. Dance clubs are the worse! Guys just jump up behind you and literally hump you or try to feel you up. I've been pinned against a wall at a night club once. I'll try and push them off of me, but sometimes it's impossible. In that case, I usually look for a guy friend to save me.

Thumb nails to the eye balls or a knee to the crotch. Simple easy and fun!

A couple of things. The older you get the less likely it will be for your skin to tighten. You are still under 30 so who knows but you want to definitely do cardio and weight lifting to help with tightening up. For stretch marks...the exercise should help a bit but you may need to have surgery. I have done research and found that cool lipo or laser lipo is a way to take care of small pockets of fat AND the side effect is the skin tightening.

Hope that helps!

yeah. it sucks that looks matter, but if you think about it, its natural to find healthiness attractive in a person and its natural to feel best when you are healthy. thats what i want. just to be healthy. i think this will give me the pride in myself to socialize better.

Well if you think about it a lot of heavier people are quite negative and have a bad aura. As you continue down your healthy path you will find that you don't want to have those bad vibes and that as you continue to work out the vibes become more past tense. Do you want to hang out with people who try to drag you back into the negative?

Well we have similar situations. By the time I was in the fourth grade I was 120. My heaviest I was 270 (when I stopped looking). In March of 2008 I started on my New Years resolution to just stop being fat and unhappy. I started doing an hour (throughout the day) on the elliptical, sought out a good therapist, and started tracking what I ate. I did this slowly so that 1. I would stick with it and 2. so I could continue to challenge myself. Now I have lost over 100 pounds (just like tjfatboy I have about 30 to go) and I want to go out more. I am surprised that I am wearing size 8 clothing (it is still a shocker) and I am now finding myself wanting to spend money on clothes rather than on food or gadgets. I finally found bra's I like (was wearing sports bra's for the longest time). I can't wait to get a boob job (lost them when I dropped the weight...didn't have much to start with but it is still a tragedy) and I have researched cool lipo to get rid of patches of pudge and tighten the loose skin without having to get it chopped off (yeahhh!!!).

I am still bound and determined to do for myself and I have no problem being selfish when I say no to food. I highly recommend it as a matter of fact especially if the person offering you really bad food gets pissy. Screw them I say because as much as they wish you well they will try to derail you and you already know you are so much more important than that munchie they are trying to stuff down your gob.

You know it's funny because as often as I have had set backs they have actually helped me get past plateaus and so I am really looking forward to getting past this last plateau and seeing what the 150s feel like. Wish me luck! And good luck to you!

Man at this point it would be AWESOME to get into the 150s before Halloween.

165 again...but it is my fault...Halloween candy...However...costume TOTALLY fits...waiting on my wig (should be here Monday). I am thinking about if I want to do glow in the dark pressons...hmm that would ROCK! Got to try on the fake eyelashes to see how they look (first time on that one too).

Oh I also found out about laser lipo which seems really intriguing and once I can afford it I may go both feet into that. They say it helps with tightening up loose skin which I think would beat having my arms cut open to remove the loose skin by far.

Btw ordered my dress, it's all paid for and it will be in an awesome dark purple. I asked for them to send me a pic of the shade of purple so I can make sure of its awesomeness and so I can plan on accessories. Halloween is going to ROCK!

Man and how hard is it to see a guy who looks almost exactly like him (a lil shorter) almost every single day...in the morning...when you look like a dreg that just washed ashore and decided they were going to work out.

I would find out his name but between the whole strong possibility of married thing (I heard something a while back about him getting back from a honeymoon...dang it..can someone get me the paperwork for an annulment please?) and the lack of energy to have an unhealthy desire for someone (what's the word..fixation? stalking? dunno)...could never understand people who do that...too much of an energy waste...could be working out with that energy or working on a relationship with someone who wants you...eh go fig.

Heheh I'm so lazy...isn't it ironic?

Ouch...Clang...bring a pillow for your bum bum. Olivia...wish I could trade ya a fella...gotta find me one first...however, there is a guy up at work that reminds me of...oh man I can never remember the actors name...he was on Bubble boy...broke back mountain (never going to watch that movie). Alas, I think he is married though...ah well. I was told it will probably be January when Mister "works for now" will show up.
