Our balance definitely goes as we age. Yoga has lots of great balancing postures that will help you maintain your balance as you age. You can begin by practicing "Tree." Stand on one leg and place the other foot on the inside of your calf or thigh. Stay for as long as you can , gradually lengthening the time you spend on one leg. Don't forget to switch sides. If that's too easy, try Tree with your eyes closed. You can also go out and buy balance boards and exercise balls. |

Hold your abs tight when you do your exercises. Think about flattening them down (belly button to spine) as you crunch up. This will help "train" them (and you) to hold your abs in at all times. And think about working your whole core, not just the ab muscles, to give yourself a stronger, sleeker mid-section. |

I've never followed the eating plan, but I can tell you that the workouts are awesome. Some of the exercises can be tough, but do what you can. Keep a record of evreything and you'll see the results. You'll get stronger and leaner. |
