Name: Nicole Age: 21 Still in the 25% range for body fat so yay for that, and I'm actually surprised my weight was as low as it was today because that isn't a morning weight, I just weighed myself now and its 7pm! |

Name:Nicole Again. Didn't put much effort into this month like Jan, but at least I didn't gain, and I'm still working out so I feel way better even if my weight doesn't show it so I'm happy. Back on the bandwagon for March. I'm ok with taking it slow. |

Name:Nicole I forgot to weigh this morning, so I had already ate an individual pizza for lunch and guzzled 2 glasses of water right before I weighed, so I was pretty impressed with the decent weigh-in. |

Name:Nicole Heh. Right. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that is not very representative of my current weight. I've still been hovering around 142-143 all week, and I can't even explain where this weird jump came from... oh well. It will just make next week look good again. |

Name:Nicole I was really drunk last night, so I think the low weight is due to the fact that I woke up this morning ridiculously dehydrated. |

Yeah, I'm always cold, and my boyfriend thinks I'm crazy. It can be twenty degrees (celcius) and I'll still be cold. I LIVE for summer. Unfortunately I live in Alberta, Canada which means our temperatures range from -30 C in the winter to +35 in the summer and the summer is never long enough! |

Yeah, that's my biggest problem with drinking is the urge to snack. Luckily (unluckily?) I'm a cheap drunk and I mix my drinks with either diet pop or crystal light so I can usually get drunk off about 300 cals worth of vodka. I have been calculating ahead of time what my calorie allowance is for the remainder of the night so I know how much I can drink. Also if I know I am planning on drinking I'll be sure to work out day. Finally, since I have stated dieting I always keep a bag of pre-made salad in the fridge (just lettuce, carrots, and cabbage) which I will usually add more veggies to, but it makes a great drunken snack with some vinegar or light italian dressing at 2am. Needless to say, I will usually get "drunk" about once a week, and I don't drink otherwise and I don't plan to cut out the drinking entirely for my diet.. just try to cut the snack cravings as much as I can. |

| Weight Loss | When your partner is so not into eating healthy | Jan 31 2009 04:00 (UTC) |

Well we're both really busy so we usually only get the chance to cook and sit down together a few times a week anyways, which makes it easier even though we live together. When I do cook I pretty much always cook chicken (and he hasn't got too sick of it yet - it's not my fault he doesn't like seafood) and I will make a tossed or caesar salad to go with, and an extra side dish for him and his brother. (who also lives with us) I find one of those Sidekicks packages works perfectly, because it only takes 15 minutes to make, and between the two of them they eat it all so I'm not tempted to have any. On the odd occasion he decides to cook it's always steak, and I have to give him credit... he makes the best steak I have ever had... again I'll have a salad on the side, but I cave every time and will eat an entire piece! Also if I know that we will be eating unhealthy at night, for example if we're having a party and I know there is going to be nachos and drinks, I will be sure to keep my calories low throughout the day, and make an extra effort during my workout. |

| Foods | Pasta Sauce.... by itself | Jan 29 2009 03:03 (UTC) |

Almost forgot, I buy the classico sauce as well, but we have canned vegetable guts from my boyfriends mom - basically the leftovers from when you juice vegetables (cucumbers, celery, carrots, tomatoes, zuccini) and I add that to the pasta sauce to make it thicker, like there is meat in it.. as well as chop fresh mushrooms, peppers, celery, and broccoli into the sauce as well. I actually just did this exact thing for supper tonight less than an hour ago (only actually with pasta tonight, lol) |

Yeah, I'll eat pasta sauce cold out of the jar with a spoon. Love it, my boyfriend thinks I'm weird. Back when I was single and cooking for myself I would put pasta sauce on bread, sprinkle on some cheese, and put it in the oven for 10 minutes. Super good. That, salads, popcorn, and alcohol is about what I lived on. |

Ezzied: I am so excited you think this too!!! I told my mom and my boyfriend once at lunch that sometimes I wonder if waitresses/bartenders ever try to sabotage other girls by serving them regular pop instead of diet. They both rolled their eyes and said I'm crazy. But think about... girls do crazier things!! |

I was 5'7, and didn't really care about my weight and don't know how much I weighed. I'm sure I had days I felt good about myself, and days I didn't. My grad dress was a size 4, and most of my pants were 5's or 7's. The summer after we graduated I remember wearing a bikini while I was camping with my friends. Now I am still 5'7, 144lbs (this morning), and I just want to be comfortable in a bikini again for this summer. |

I was helping a customer at work one day and instead of saying "What can I do for you today?" I said "How can I do you today" He laughed. I blushed. Also I've called customers and when the wife answered, thought it sounded like a man and said "Hi, is this George?". I feel very badly when this happens... but it is difficult to tell sometimes when they answer the phone with just "Hello?" |

| Weight Loss | lots of vodka + bingeing . what now? | Jan 25 2009 20:35 (UTC) |

Is it weird that I always seem to weight significantly less after I get substantially drunk then? I mean, I assumed it was because I was dehydrated, hence less weight so it made sense.. but you guys are saying you tend to weigh more after a night of drinking? I'm a little confused. For example, I usually eat between 1300-1800 cals/day and my weight is slowly decreasing but mostly hovering between 145-147, last weekend we had a party at my house, had nachos for supper, and apparently I was eating an unknown amount of chips later in the night, and the next morning I only weighed 143. I guess my question is, in this situation what makes more sense? The dehydration making my weight lower? Or the booze and sodium making it higher? |

I also LOVE cottage cheese :) I used to sit and eat an entire tub in a day! Thank god I would only buy it every couple of weeks!! Now I measure it into half cups and bring it with me to work in the morning. That way no matter how much I want more, there is no more to be had! Had cottage cheese with lunch today, but finished the tub so now I'm out until I go shopping again.. |

What are the odds of this, but I am about 99% sure that Prevention Dvd is the same one I have and used to use all the time. The only reason I don't anymore is my boyfriends brother lives with us and I'm a little self conscious about doing it in the middle of our living room.. but it's pretty fun, fast, and I could always feel it the next day... especially the 10min abs bit. |

Yeah thats kind of what I figured, I think I would actually be worried if I had really lost 5lbs in four days! I just didn't know it could flunctuate quite that much, I thought it was more like a pound or two. |

Ok, so it's only been 4 days and I'm already down to 145.6 (from 150.8).. I'm kind of wondering if that original weight was a little inflated from something... I know I had ate fairly well that particular day, but the week before was horrendous.. because I can't imagine how I ACTUALLY would be down 5lbs already.. it seems impossible.. I've been eating well, between 1300 and 1800 a day, with one day at 2200 and have only exercised once... Does anyone have some insight? is it possible my original weight was off for some reason? isn't that more likely? I've been weighing myself consistently every morning before I eat... |

Hey everybody, my name is Nicole and I am looking for any additional motivation I can find. I'm 5'8 and 150.8 lbs as of today. My happy weight was 134 lbs and I would love to be that much again. My goal is 1lb a week so nothing too intense, just need motivation to keep it up. |
