If, like me, you've lost quite a bit of weight, exercise regularly yet still look like you've got a puppy on your lap when you're sitting down then you might want to consider the Slendertone belt (or whatever other generic brand is out there). It will not help you lose weight but it will - if you use it regularly- help tone those muscles that lurk miles below your midriff. After about a month of 20-mins daily you will see the vaguest outlines of muscle tone, just below your ribs; almost like a mirage...is it really there? Gradually, you get definition.

It's expensive to buy, it eats batteries, the replacement pads aren't sold in many shops (at least, not over here), they cost about $15 and last about three weeks.  So, no quick/cheap fix but, if you're doing everything else right, it can make just enough difference to motivate you out of bed on a cold morning. And prancing around the bedroom in your undies is much more rewarding...

I've just bought the one for my face. I look like the chick out of Metropolis!

Sorry, babe. Boys are dumber than a bag of rocks.  A big bag. Of very dumb rocks. And most of them never grow out of it (of course, all the men on this site are FANTASTIC human beings). Everybody has something that someone else can make fun of. Everybody. I bet those three dorks behind you haven't ever even kissed a girl. And at this rate, never will.

It's just possible that he was trying to prove to his friends that he didn't like you because really, deep down, he might and he's too immature to deal with it in a sensible manner. Like saying - oh, I dunno - "Hello".  It's just a thought as a friend of mine was teased unrelentingly for about four months by a guy on the bus (he made her life so miserable that she would walk in the rain, rather than travel with him). Finally, he swaggered over to her one day and asked why she hadn't been on the bus for weeks. So, when she actually reminded   him that he'd repeatedly insulted her, he admitted it was because he really liked her but was too ashamed to admit it to his friends but, now that some of them had girlfriends it was 'ok' for him to like her.

Next time, only if you're up to it, casually mention that a real man would be able to appreciate a real woman. Otherwise, just ignore the doof. You get them everywhere, honey. Rise above it. Or go home and make a voodoo doll. Your call.

Big hugs.

Wow! What an interesting, insightful, introspective collection.  Some of those are really moving.
