My friends do similar things when we're out. If I only eat a little or only drink water, they'll ask why I'm not eating or say I must be starving and try and get me to eat more. It's frustrating, best just to ignore it and only eat what you want to eat. |

I guess to me, being obese, a BMI of 19 sounds absolutely amazing. But realistically, I'm aiming to be somewhere in the healthy range, even though BMI isn't something I'm going to put a lot of emphasis on. |

I ate about 6 custard creams the other day in a bit of a weak moment... I don't feel too guilty about it because I stayed within my calories for the day and I don't treat myself too much. |

Well done you for quitting smoking! I've decided to quit (or seriously restrict) drinking alcohol as well. Mostly because of the calories, though partly because I hate feeling ill the next day and because I don't need it to have fun. When I'm out with friends, they sometimes pressure me to drink but I'm saying enough is enough. Good luck to you x |

Hi guys, I've been super busy recently so this is the first chance I've had to check in and weigh in. So April 1st weigh in = 334lb :( The less said about that the better really... hopefully I'll have a greater loss to report come May 1st. Hope you're all well, and I promise to check in soon. Hey guys, just checking in as I haven't been on in a while. I've had a read through all the recent posts, nice to see there's been a lot of chat going on. I hope March is going well for everyone, and you're on the way to reaching your goals. I'm on track now, planning on doing a lot more exercise from now on. I visited family over the weekend who I haven't seen in a while and I'm disappointed in myself that I haven't lost a noticeable amount of weight since I last saw them. Visiting again in May, so my aim is to lose considerably more weight by then. Good work everyone, keep on going. Also, I'll just fill this in while I'm here :) 1. Do you have a nickname? - Lola

Long time no see everyone! I've had computer troubles for the last few weeks so I've not been able to get on. As well as that, I've not had a great month in terms of weight loss and I know I've been a bit careless. I'm feeling the benefits of being part of a group though, because every time I've considered giving up altogether I felt like I was letting everyone on here down. So I'm back with a vengeance and ready to get back on track in March! My weigh in for this month is 335lb (amazingly) meaning that I've actually tossed 1lb this month. Maybe once a month I will have a day where I eat my maintenance calories. I'm not all that strict about eating the 'healthiest' foods, and usually eat at least a couple of things I don't normally allow myself to eat but I'm always aware that I'm still trying to eat healthily and count calories to stop myself from having an all-out binge. |

I started at the beginning of January, and as of yesterday I have lost 14lb :D I'm really pleased with that, as it surpassed my goal for January. |

Congrats :) I haven't been dieting for that long, and while I've noticed the scale changing I haven't noticed much difference in the way I look. But yesterday, I tried on a dress that I got last year which has never fitted me and I managed to get it on and zipped no problem! That's pretty much when I realised my dieting was working, I was ridiculously excited lol. |

FEB 1 WEIGHT: 336 (14lb tossed!) Really happy with that, seeing as it's my first month. Plus, yesterday I tried on a dress that I bought last year sometime that didn't fit me at all and I managed to get it on and zipped no problem at all! I was ridiculously happy about that, it really feels like I'm losing weight. Well done to everyone else as well, keep it up I know we can do this. x |

My sister's friend brought me a chocolate bar, and I had a staring contest with it for a while as I tried to convince myself not to eat it. In the end, I gave it to my mom :) felt good! Edit- Also last, myself and a few friends were at a friend's house and everyone had beer and ordered in Chinese food, while I just sat and sipped water. T'was tough, but worth it. |

Like others have said, it's probable that you haven't gained a full 4lb. Either way, it's done now so forget about it and get back on track. There's no use dwelling on it or making yourself feel bad just start over and anything you've gained will come off again. |

I'm living at home with my mom and my sister, and we're on a pretty tight budget too. Sadly, they're not exactly into healthy eating so while my mom will buy good food for me, she also buys not so good foods for them which means she ends up spending more money and I'm constantly surrounded by temptation. |

I'm the same, I end up feeling really hungry and wanting to binge in the few hours leading up to bedtime more than any other time. I think with me it might be a boredom thing so I usually have a light snack and try to occupy myself. Good luck with it! |

Happy Monday, all! There are so many posts to catch up on since I was last on. I'm in the mood for cheese now, I'll have to try the laughing cow kind because I haven't had cheese since Christmas and it's my favourite! I had a bit of an off-week last week to be honest but I'm back on track now, with a new exercise DVD in tow. I can't believe February 1st is so close! All the best with the last few days in January guys, looking forward to seeing what progress we've all made this month. |
