breakfast: 2 slices of flax & fiber bread, with jelly. nonfat peach yogurt.

snack: large smoothie [frozen peaches, mangos, strawberries, and concord grapes; nonfat milk; trop50 orange juice; lowfat yogurt; fresh strawberries]. celery with hummus.

lunch: black olives, 3 stuffed grape leaves. 1 orange. chamomile tea.

dinner: egg noodles, mixed with cottage cheese. asparagus, with butter.

 

probably about 1500-1600 calories. normally i have a bit more, but i was sick and slept for a good chuck of the day. =[

breakfast: oatmeal, with 1/4 cup of raisins and 1/4 cup of chopped dates. 1 hard-boiled egg white. coffee with milk.

lunch: turkey & lettuce sandwich on a whole wheat english muffin. baby carrots, dipped in light sesame dressing. "light" lemonade.

snack: nonfat blueberry yogurt. some pretzels. strawberries.

dinner: bowl of organic vegetable & kidney bean soup. a couple servings of whole wheat goldfish crackers. some more baby carrots.

breakfast: peanut butter and banana sandwich on a whole wheat english muffin. coffee with milk.

lunch: salad with broccoli, cherry tomatoes, peas, black olives, and balsamic vinaigrette. some applesauce. 1 cup of skim milk.

snack: maple brown sugar oatmeal. 4 large strawberries. chamomile tea, with a bit of honey.

dinner: bbq chicken sandwich. sweet potato with honey butter (usually i try to avoid butter, but this stuff was so good! it was butter with honey and cinnamon!). a bit of mac & cheese.

lunch: salad with peas, green peppers, black olives, and balsamic vinaigrette. some applesauce. cup of nonfat milk. 1 watermelon blow pop.

snack: 1 pear. oatmeal with a pinch of salt. coffee with half & half.

dinner: refried bean burrito, with lettuce and black olives, made with a whole wheat tortilla. tortilla chips and salsa. 

snack: 1 large fuji apple.

breakfast: bowl of cheerios, with nonfat milk and 1 sliced banana. coffee with half & half.

lunch: veggie burger [boca burger, whole wheat english muffin, spinach, basil, and dijon mustard]. broccoli, carrots, and bell pepper, steamed in EVOO.

snack: 1 pear. 1/4 cup of almonds. coffee with half & half.

dinner: salmon, steamed in basil and EVOO. brown rice. sauteed mixed veggies [snap peas, mushrooms, broccoli, celery, carrots, bell peppers].

 

delicious day! and, my portion sized weren't totally out of control, as they usually are. :]

lunch: salad [spinach, a sliced fuji apple, raisins, and light ginger sesame dressing]

snack: nonfat lemon yogurt. pretzels & nutella.

dinner: thin-crust veggie pizza. some baby carrots.

lunch: salad with sliced green peppers, black olives, and italian dressing. cup of vegetable soup. cup of low fat chocolate milk.

snack: 1 whole wheat pita, with spicy hummus. lots of red grapes.

dinner: 2 pasta shells, stuffed with ricotta cheese, fresh spinach, and basil.

lunch: turkey & lettuce sandwich on whole wheat bread. 1 navel orange.

snack: 3 dill pickle spears. black tea. lots of kettle corn (like, almost the entire bag, lol).

dinner: 2 bowls of lentil & vegetable soup.

lunch: grilled chicken sandwich. some cantaloupe. 

snack: some sauteed carrots, mushrooms, and snap peas. 1 apple with peanut butter.

dinner: very large bowl of lentil & vegetable soup. 1 piece of whole wheat pita bread.

breakfast: peanut butter & banana sandwich on a honey wheat, double fiber english muffin. coffee with milk.

snack: went to a farmers market and had some free samples of various things (popcorn, pretzels, etc).

lunch: 1 apple. bow-tie pasta with tomatoes, capers, black olives, and olive oil.

snack: steamed navy beans, carrots, and spinach. another apple.

dinner: salmon. whole wheat orzo pasta. steamed carrots & spinach.

dessert: cookies & cream ice cream. :)

lunch: 2 scrambled eggs, with steamed spinach. 1 piece of whole wheat toast, with strawberry jam.

snacks (throughout the afternoon): lowfat lemon yogurt. carrots & hummus. 1 large banana. triscuts & hummus.

dinner: small salad with vinaigrette dressing. bow tie pasta, with lots of tomatoes, black olives, garlic, capers, and olive oil.

breakfast: bowl of nonfat vanilla yogurt, multigrain cheerios, and raisins. coffee with milk.

lunch: very large salad with snap peas, dried pineapple, and almonds.

snack: black tea. 1 orange. 9 triscuts, each topped with spicy hummus and 1 slice of cucumber.

dinner: bowl of vegetable soup. cantaloupe. 1/2 of a large chicken sub with sauteed onions and swiss cheese.

breakfast: 1 orange. 2-egg omelette, with spinach, mushrooms, and a bit of cheese. coffee with milk.

lunch: oatmeal, with chopped dates and a handful of almonds. nonfat strawberry yogurt.

snack: oats & chocolate fiber granola bar. lots of edamame.

dinner: salmon, made with basil and olive oil. lo mein noodles and stir-fry veggies.

snack: 1 small piece of coffee cake. cup of orange juice.

lunch: salad with peas, carrots, tomatoes, black olives, and salsa. cup of chicken & rice soup. green grapes.

snack: whole wheat pita stuffed with fresh spinach and hummus. carrots & hummus. peppermint herbal tea.

dinner: went to an african restaurant with friends :) i had lentils with collard greens and other vegetables and this bread-like stuff.

lunch: large salad with black olives, shredded carrots, green peppers, tomatoes, and balsamic vinaigrette. green grapes.

snack: 1 piece of whole wheat pita bread, with peanut butter. 1 pear. peppermint herbal tea.

dinner: whole wheat spaghetti, with shrimp. lots of steamed veggies (spinach, broccoli, carrots, snap peas, and peppers).

lunch: salad with peas, shredded carrots, black olives, and italian dressing. cup of chicken noodle soup. popcorn. berry-flavored propel water.

snack: 1 apple. sugar-free carmel pudding. more popcorn.

dinner: 1/2 large hummus, cucumber & spinach pita wrap. rice, mixed with black beans, edamame, and carrots.

a very carby, fruit-deprived day, overall.

lunch: tabouli. steamed carrots, zucchini, and green beans. 1 boca vegan patty, chopped up. (all of that mixed up together. delicious.)

snacks throughout the afternoon: nonfat berry yogurt. tall latte. quaker fiber & omega 3 granola bar. strawberries.

dinner: chicken & rice soup. carrots & hummus. more tabouli.

dessert: some m&ms.

dinner: carrots. chicken & rice soup. 

 

i know it doesn't look like much, but i had large portions of everything.

and ughhhh too much cheese.

dinner: spaghetti with marinara sauce, steamed yellow carrots, spinach and navy beans.

lunch: six-inch grilled chicken sub on wheat bread, with lots of veggies and a tiny bit of sweet onion sauce. 1 apple.

snack: nonfat peach yogurt. 2 stalks of celery with peanut butter & raisins.

dinner: large salad with mandarin oranges, grilled chicken, and sesame dressing. 

 

kaybug - you could switch to herbal tea. i actually like it more, and it doesn't have caffeine.

lunch: bowl of honey nut cheerios & multi-grain cheerios (mixed) with 2% milk. 

snack: broccoli, carrots, beans, & mushrooms, sauteed with soy sauce. nonfat yogurt.

dinner: iced tea with splenda. a ridiculously large salad with grilled chicken, blue cheese, sliced apples, pecans, and dressing.

snack: nonfat cherry yogurt. 1 large fuji apple. lots of chex mix. 1 caribou coffee bar (so good!).

dinner: 2 veggie cakes (rice, edamame, carrots, soy) with swiss cheese. carrots. 1/2 cheeseburger (no bun).

lunch: chicken nuggets, dipped in bbq sauce. one and a half apples. 1 cup of 1% milk.

snack: oatmeal with dried fruit and brown sugar. hazlenut iced coffee with nonfat milk.

dinner: new potatoes. lots of cabbage. a little bit of corned beef. (we were celebrating st. patrick's day, obviously.)

 

almost no veggies today... woops!

snack: carrots & hummus. 1 mandarin orange. peppermint herbal tea. 1/4 of a cupcake they were giving away at starbucks.

dinner: 1 piece of this spinach & cheese pie-type thing. LOTS of wasa crackers. a couple of in-shell peanuts.
