Good god I do not smoke or drink excessively. I don't even LIKE to tan. I step out there for 5 minutes and it will take a whole year to get rid of that tan.

I'm 24. I have gone through a fair share of my "omg I'm old and that stupid 21 year old twit is getting all the attention". Then again, you gotta pay attention to the type of attention that person is getting. Is it respect? More than likely no. At that age (hell even ours), they are definitely not getting the respect they deserve no matter how mature or immature they are.

I've had a couple of breakdowns this years about my age. I've started using face creams and eye creams. This changes you on the face. Luckily for me, I don't really look "old" because of my asian skin...but the days I don't get enough sleep or don't drink enough water...man I look parched.

There are things you cannot do anymore and shouldn't have done when you were young: sunbathe. Sunscreen is VERY important for young skin. I NEVER leave the house with at least 30 on (I tan quickly). And I live by the beach...so the pressure to look a certain way is amplified by 100%. Every girl here no matter what age has to be that bleach blone, D-cup, 24 inch waist girl...and that's really hard to achieve.

I've started realizing as I get older, I can't "hang" like I used to when I was younger. I've started drinking less, sleeping more, eating cleaner and exercising. When I was at 21, I was drinking excessively, getting no sleep, eating McDonalds everyday and not once hit the gym. Thank god it didn't hit me until I was around 23. It's a lifestyle I can't ever fathom going back to.

Just cheer up. At least you're no 30. HAHA

I eat up to 1400 a day. And I spend about 40 minutes on cardio which is only around 300 to 400 calories. I have my period. I just don't update my stats.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I see people train EVERY SINGLE DAY and their results are phenomenal. I don't want to be buff or anything, I just want a flat stomach.

i dont know, coffee works for me in the morning...but i eat a lot of fiber too.

you should try avocados! full of fiber, about 13gs per large avocado.

prune juice works, but its gross.

also if you want to do a natural cleanse (maybe its buildup in your system), try 4 cups of water and 2 teaspoons of natural sea salt. do it first thing in the morning.

i wish i could jog outdoors but something about jogging outdoors makes me want to puke. i dont kow what it is, maybe i should wait a bit longer after eating before i go on my job. or dont eat spicy food haha

totally agree with mds86.

if theres no ephedra in it, its useless. diet pills dont work alone either. you have to work with them. you need to exercise and change your diet as well. you cant just eat whatever and take a pill and hope for the best.

i never did any diet pills because its really a waste of money. just exercise, take a multivitamin and eat lots of fresh food. i know thats what everyone will say and its lame and trust me, it is. but its the only thing that really does work.

yeah, theres no such thing as spot reduction. ive been exercising since last summer and im just getting the results with my stomach. if anything, the fat on your stomach is usually the last to go. i mean, you might experience it getting smaller, but if you grab hold you still feel some fat around there.

oh god, the sad part is i already at like 4 out of the 6 you've listed. i think im just overly stressed out and i need to chill the hell out. maybe reduce my exercise from 5 days to only 3 to 4 times a week. im not gonna eat more than 1200 to 1400 though. im gonna stick to my original eating habits. i am going to make an appointment (yet again) with planned parenthood and address my concerns heavily this time. i would just mention it and they would just give me a pregnancy test and say if i am not trying to conceive i shouldnt worry.

they have a gyno there or nurse practicioner and she checks me out all the time and she says everything is looking good...nothing wrong with anything really. it bothers me though because my period has been gone for two months. im hoping it comes back next month.

yeah letting myself go stresses me out too. but lately ive been overly stressed with school and such. i eat pretty healthy for the most part though (1200 to 1400 a day, but i exercise every other day) and that could be it too adding on to my stress.

im gonna try the peanut butter and olive oil thing. its just freaking me out, i dont want to go 3 months without my period. this is the longest its ever been gone and its starting to worry me. i know im not pregnant either because ive taken a test and all. im just overly stressed. i should just relax and MAYBE it will come back

see this doesnt make sense to me because when i was at 115 to 120 i would miss my period too. i know that a contributing factor may be because i am a small weight....but i feel its much more than that because ive always had this problem for quite sometime.

i have been on the pill before and it makes my period WORSE. i never had cramps until i started the pill. which is why i dont take it anymore.

i want to be regular, ive always expressed my concern in the past when i had health insurance but they just disregarded my concern as stress in my life. which is probably true since i did always manage to get my period back again within the next month.

the thing is, how do i go about asking a doctor or nurse that im worried about being infertile when im not even trying to conceive. i know thats weird but i figure if they can fix the problem right now so it wont get worse. it bothers me because one time i asked and they asked if i was trying to get pregnant...obviously im not so they told me not to worry about it until im ready.

annoying.

Health & Support Natural way to quit smoking? Feb 26 2009

when i started hitting up the gym regularly, i had to quit smoking. i was out of breath and i couldnt perform at my full potential.

ive quit plenty of times before but once i started hitting up the gym, it was over. that and the taste of cigarettes no longer appeal. i started getting sick after smoking. one cigarette would burn my throat...that was another motivation to stop. i havent touched a cigarette since last summer. i did last year in november...my friend was out there smoking and i asked for a hit...and immediately gave it back and felt extremely disgusting afterwards. from then on i knew, smoking is not gonna be part of my life.

youre gonna have to want to do it for yourself. in my case, my throat was my reason to stop!

im freaking out a bit. i get my period sometimes...then sometimes i dont. it would be off for a month, then ill get it back like normal. im not EVER pregnant even though i am sexually active. and i am not on birth control.

however, right now i haven't had my period for two months and someday i would LOVE to have children, just not now.

does ammenorrhea lead to problems with fertility? because i really want to go to see a doctor asap because this has been a problem with me for awhile.

all you people make me sick ;)

the thing is when i was around your age (14-18) my measurements were scary. i was like 5'5" and like 90 lbs. and scarily thin.

now i'm 23 (turning 24 at the end of march) and my stats are a bit different. your body changes so much after high school. take care of yourself if you want to keep those frames...trust me.

as for me

5'5" 106 lbs

30 bust-23.5 waist-33 hip

thighs: 17"
