And one more groupie! I, too, am trying to get back in the swing of things after the holidays! I try to stay fit and eat well, but this xmas was the most indulgent ever. I'm in a new relationship and the new guy (and his family) happen to be my new favorite things. As a result, I threw two dinner parties (smashingly good fun) and even did some baking! I'm not a baker (preferring savory to sweet) but I made cookies, cakes, scones, and even some semifredo (homemade ice cream of sorts), not to mention the turkey, the ham, the quiche, the stuffing, the mashed potatoes, the frozen fruit swiming in melted white chocolate desserts, the croissants, the cheese plates, the fruit plates, and I could so keep this list going. Dude.... To make indulgent holidays worse - I practically stopped working out altogether. One day a week (if that much) just isn't going to cut it for me with that kind of diet! A good love life is very, very bad for my waistline!!! Last summer, I was working out 4-5x per week. I'd like to get back into those good habits. A little encouragement here would be great! So what are your workout plans for tomorrow?? And how do you feel about red meat in your diets? |
