Hiiii... ok, I'm not an expert, but I can share what I've learned so far. You shouldn't set your meter to active if your also logging exercise. I'm pretty sure its only if you exercise on a regular basis, doing pretty much the same types of exercise, and didn't want to have to log it all the time. I would keep it at sedentary, and keep these things in mind 1. You should never be eating less than 1200 cals a day, and you should never have more than a 1000 cal deficit ( cal intake - cals burned) so yes, if your burning 2100 cals just being alive, only eating 1200, plus exercise, you might be creating too large of a deficit, which is no good. I would switch it up, keeping between a 500-1000 cal deficit everyday, keep your metabolisim guessing, lol. Good luck! = )

ok so I'm finding that people usually don't answer me because they feel I'm the typical stupid girl who says " omg I'm 100lbs and FAT" and I'm really not saying that, I'm just asking if anyone has been in my situation, or has advice. It upsets me that no one ever answers.

first off congrats for the gw... = )   Your post caught my attention because I'm in the exact same situation as you... eating around 1300 now... maintenence says 1800. What are your stats? Hope someone answers!

I've heard people say squats alot, I don't know if I do them wrong or what, but it ALWAYS hurts my spine. I had an epidural back in July and the spot where the needle was is still tender when I bend my back. = ( Any machines at the gym that would be helpfull? Or anything that doesn't require much bending?
