Well "bigbityy" you can "suck on it" because as Dirktwolf said he had lines of visible muscle in this area when he had 22% body fat, which is quite healthy, so think you could be offending quite a few people with your nasty attitude towards these forums. I like your journals too about when you dream of "punching people" in the face, you seem like a nice person with genuin opinions?? Haha. So dont bother posting any more comments when all you do is make people feel like crap with your correctly put "nasty" comments. If you stopping letting your mouth run away with you and actually realised what we are talking about is not to "aspire" to have bones sticking out but to have a well toned lower abdomen maybe you could join in and actually have a discussion and not just fire everybody down who say's something you do not like. If you dont like it, DONT READ IT!! You have offiacialy been blocked, i do not wish to read any more of your poison on these forums! |

I think you got the wrong end of the stick, i didn't actually mean bone's sticking out i just didnt know how to word it! If you read the replies you will see i meant have toned lower abs that are carved in to a nice v shape, so i wont be starving myself and enjoying my "bones", i will be enjoying myself doing the exercises that people who acheive this toned look suggested to me!! All that takes to acheive the "v" look i was talking about is a good healthy diet and plenty of stomach exercise of the right kind!!

I think you know what i ment, obviously i know you cant tone bone but you can tone your stomache muscle around that area for it to have a nice shape. I was only curious and there is no need for knarky answers like that back! |

| Weight Loss | I gained it all back....really? | Jan 19 2009 14:40 (UTC) |

I have to agree with the other posts too, i am 5"7 and at the moment 158 lbs looking to get down to 140, which is a weigh i felt best at as i was not too skinney and still had curves. I'm not very big at my current weight, i wear a uk 12 comfortably but would like to get to a 10. I had a friend who was 120lbs and she was 5"2, she was very slim, a uk size 8 so to be 5"7 and that height you must have been very slight! Also if you found it had to maintain that weight while eating sensibly maybe it was your body's way of saying it needs more calories, if the body isn't getting enough it will gain very quickly with the slightest up on them. I'd concentrate on cardio and resistance training to get toned and make sure you follow a healthy diet and that your body is getting all the calories it needs and you should be fine!! Good luck!! |

I started with my first measurements today so we will see!! I have no idea how much water to drink becaus eosme people say if you drink too much your body retains it then if you dont drink enough you wont looses as much weight!! 6 to 8 glasses a day seems a lot to me and if i even try and drink that much i'm just running to the toilet every half hour, which i cant be doing at work.... |

Thanks for the positive comment!! and i am with you when you say you loose more weight on a steady flow of food and water. Once i was going through a bad patch and lost 10lbs in 2 weeks through basically eating a few bits of toast every day, but low and behold once i came around i had put it all abck on plus a few extra lbs! |

oh sorry amethystgirl i posted your name in that comment instead of floggingsully!! I understand what your saying about when to weigh yourself. Think it is a bad idea to do it most days if you are weak willed because if it looks like a re-lapse sometimes people give up or bing! I would do neither but do all the same get annoyed at those bloomin' scales at time! |

| Weight Loss | Variation of Routine?? Calorie is a Calorie??? | Jan 15 2009 13:42 (UTC) |

Hey, well i personally find variation is the key. Firstly so your body doesn't get used to doing the same thing day in and day out and secondly so that you dont get bored doing the samw thing day in and day out! I know i get bored very easily, i do a high impact cardio workout 3 times a week along with a toning section lunges, squats, crunches etc, then inbetween i walk my dogs at quite a pace for an hour each time and this seems to be quite effective! I dont weight train or anything as cant stand gyms! And as for breakfast i see nothing wrong with it as long as it is healthy! I mostly eat a bowl of special k red berries along with a glass of homemade fruit smoothie! Fills me up no end and like questobefit, i then do not binge throughout the day. If i have no breakfast, i tend to order copious amounts of food at diner time at work, aka sauage rolls or anything with cheese on! Although havnt done this for many weeks now as i always eat my brek brek!yum yum |

Amethystgirl what i am saying is not that i am unhappy to have lost 2lbs but that i didnt understand the flucuation of that much in 3days that was what the problam was. Only wanted to know why this happens not why i am not loosing more! |

Yes i think this too because my jeans are still the same fit and everything, just really sucks to see that on the scale!! I try not to weigh myself but every time i'm in the bathroon i can just see the scales out of the corner of my eye like they are saying "stand on me, stand on me" So what is your start weight and goal weight then? |
