Hello I've been doing Pilates classes now for about a month, starting at first with once a week....I'm now going twice a week on a Tuesday and Friday.......The first couple now of sessions I ached so bad ( like you described)....actually the aching lasted for days. Now after 4 weeks I don't ache after and am worked at the hardest levels pretty much most of the time. I really enjoy my sessions and think it's something I'll continue to do long into the future......I just wished my lessons were longer....we only get 45 mins!!! But another great thing has been.....I put on my size 8 jeans yesterday for the first time in a few weeks and they're much, much bagger around the legs and bum - Bonus :) And I haven't been to the gym in about 2 weeks either!!!

| Weight Loss | 5ft and 1200 cals...does this sound right? | Jan 15 2009 09:22 (UTC) |

Hello, I'm 5ft too.....but I currently weigh 124lbs (size 10) and am looking to get down to 100lbs (your current weight). I myself feel it a struggle to eat 1500, I feel stuffed. I'm not a big eater either. So I have downed my calories to only 1000 a day. In a bid to lose. Hope it works. I'm not as active as you, but I do walk about 4-6 miles a day doing school runs. and I agree, it is hard for us shorties to lose weight......it sucks :( x |
