I like Kombucha.  It has 75 calories and is carbonated, so it reduced appetite while giving you amino acids and probiotics.

YES!  I think it depends on the person, however.  When I 'binge' its half a medium pizza.  I've never been a huge eater.   I've also heard that increasing caloric intake one or two days a month can keep you from plateauing.

This is where I'm starting as well.  I'm certainly not overweight, but I used to be the 'model' of fitness.  6 days a week in the gym for 4 hours a day as a gymnast.  A back injury knocked me out and then college came, and then a 9-5 desk job came.  Once you get into the habit of not working out, its so hard to get back into it.  I am thankful that I am currently at a plateau, I have never been above 138.  But I feel out of shape.  And where I am now, I would not want to go to a highschool reunion...

If you don't let a muscle group rest, it will not build anything.  The basis of weight training is that you are essentially breaking down your muscles.  Its the day of rest that repairs and builds them, either more bulky (fewer reps more weight) or lean (less weight more reps).  I've found that working abs and arms one day and back and legs another works pretty well.  You definately don't want muscle fatigue!
