Had a laugh at that one because I still use the Billy Blanks tapes and once bought a Carmen Elektra fit to strip video series. Wow what we do to ourselves to stay interested with exercise LOL! |

| Fitness | Any Smokers "Not Ex" - that can run? | Apr 16 2009 20:46 (UTC) |

Absolutely! To be exact I smoke about half a pack a day and I can run at a constant pace easily for about 30 minutes...but remember, even if you were not a smoker, running takes practice and effort. You have to train your body and your breathing, all you can do is keep trying, your body will build memory of the action and each time you will be a little better at running. P.S the better you get the less you want to smoke after :) |

| Fitness | HONESTLY! OUTTER THIGH FAT!!! what to do?! | Apr 15 2009 17:12 (UTC) |

I am familiar with the abductor machines and use them, the stair climber, leg press, etc... I suppose I am looking for the best bang for my buck since I only have 20-30 minutes at my lunch break everyday to go to my gym. P.S. Love the metaphor! Thank you to all who have replied, really good advice! |

| Weight Loss | stomach and stretch marks after losing | Apr 15 2009 15:18 (UTC) |

Well think of our bodies as women in terms of pregnancy really. Whenever you gain you stretch. Our bodies are made to expand and reduce normally but when it happens too quicjkly you get marks. Depending on the pace at which you are losing the weight (if you are doing it the healthy way approx 1lbs per week) than your tummy should smooth down just fine. If you need an additional stretch mark helper, try VitaK. It really works, I used it after I had my daughter and it faded the marks SUBSTANTIALLY but they are not 100% gone but barely visible. Your body will lighten them over time naturally but if you want a litle boost in terms of timeframe, than try the VitaK. You can purchase it at most Zellers, Shoppers Drugmart etc.. type of stores. |

Well to be honest in the profile picture I was topping at about 115-116 lbs, so I have gained a tad around the thigh section, hence my frustration with this weight kaufmkk. But thanks for the kindness all the same. And thank you to everyone for your advice!! |

| Fitness | Workout everyday | Mar 25 2009 17:39 (UTC) |

It is just fine to workout every day as long as you are working different muscle groups. Muscles need time to rest in order to grow and continue to burn fat. So if you do cardio every day and then alternate upper and lower body workouts from day to day than you are doing great. The reason muscles hurt after exercise is that exercising actually creates tiny, microscopic tears in your muscles that allows them to grow and reshape. If you over work one area, it isn't doing anything but potentially draining you and straining your muscles. Keep up that dedication though, it will pay off. Just listen to your muscles and ensure enough sleep. Sleep is when your muscles work the hardest. If you are having trouble sleeping at night, try working out earlier in the day. Cheers ArianaP |
