There is some progress with my bf he said we'll discuss about it this weekend. Until then I have to think about the whole issue . Hope we reach a win-win solution.

Hi There,

Lucky You are in Goa. If you come down South(Where I was living) you won't even get non vegetarian foods.

 I'm a vegetarian since birth so i don't know much about meat & Stuff. But this is a ideal plan. It comes close to 1700 calories

Early Morning 1 Cup Tea OR Coffee Morning Breakfast 2 Double Roti + 1 Banana +1 Egg.

Lunch 2 Chapati, 1 cup rice(with Dal/Sambar/Rasam)
1 Bowl Daal OR Chicken curry,
1/2 Bowl Curd,
1 Bowl Sabji.
  Evening Snack 1 Cup Tea ,
2 Salty Biscuits / Cookies,
50 gm Channa
  Dinner 3 Chapati,
1 Bowl Daal,
1 Bowl Meat Curry OR Fish Curry,
1 Bowl Sabji.
  Bedtime 1 Glass Milk (Without Sugar) Oil OR Ghee 4 Teaspoonful for cooking only for the Whole Day!

Pls keep this things also in mind

1) If you find Idly/ Dosa in the menu go for it with lot of Sambar(By this time you would have got used to what is meant by Sambar)

2) Avoid Cocunet Chutneys

3) Incase of Sweets stick for Rasagulla or Rasamallai. (Many of the Indian Sweets are high in Calories)

4)If you are going for Chaat items (evening snacks) stick to Bhel Puri, Channa Masala. If you are going for other stuff bo specify "Cook with Less Butter". Some snacks even go upto 500 calories

5) Don't miss out Tender Cocunuts, its a speciality of Goa. High in sugar, but can be enjoyed in moderation

On weekdays I wake up at 4.30 am. I try to hit the gym by 5 in the morning. I have to start for my work by 7.15 somedays or 7.45 somedays. I sleep around 10pm. I'm much used to this routine for the past two years.On weekends I wake up around 8 or 9 am.

My problems are sitting before this damn computer for nine hours and concentrating on my certification exam for another three hours. This takes out precious twelve hours from my day.

Though i have problem of snacking during weekend i'm controlled enough during weekdays.

My motivation is how i look in the mirror. Though its taking time i'm going to stick with it.

I used to weigh myself regularly. But when i don't lose any weight i get demotivated and started over eating. I threw the sale away but continued with Good food and exercise. Now my clothes are fitter, yes I know lost the weight but I'm not going to step on the scales again.

Jenny:If you are craving for that adjust rest of your calorie intake and take 1/4 of it. Taking a Single piece means additional hour in Treadmill just ask urself are u ready for it.

I too faced the similar situation in College days. I used to take a fruit or healthy snack along. There have been times where i have walked out during the snack time just to avoid questions.

I have tried:

Diet pills: I was on pills two years

Yoga: Did help me in losing weight but i couldn't continue

800 cal diet: I did this mistake for two years

Walking/Jogging for an Hour: Helped me a lot, but i couldn't continue when i joined my new job

Now Gym/Pilates/Balanced diet: Working well now.As i'm doing pnly the things that i can follow for life time.

. After all i took so many years to put on weight i won't lose it overnight right?

I had the same problem but gyno diagonised that I have follicles in my ovaries. I'm on medication now. Check with your gyno soon.

 It's perfectly ok to fall out of line once in a while. So  carry on with a normal meal next time. Probably you can increase your workout time next day if you feel guilty
