Where I grew up, everyone says "Feb you wary" do I did too. Looking at how the word is spelled, I know that's not correct, but I have trouble making myself say it any other way without making myself sound like an idiot, so now its one of those words I try to avoid. |

She's not religious, but I think she used to be. She hasn't out-and-out said why exactly she wants to stay a virgin til she gets married, but I'm getting the impression that jealousy has something to do with it. Her boyfriend has slept with a few other girls, and it drives her crazy. I think that she hates it so much that she isn't his one and only that she wants to make sure that when she gets married, she'll be her husband's one and only. She has very bad jealousy issues, I might add. She definitely acts like she's better than those who have had premarital sex and she says she thinks that sex before marriage is cheating on your future spouse. I guess she thinks that her future spouse won't mind if she has had anal with others, which as other people have said, strikes me as worse than normal sex when it comes to being "pure."
Also, we're both 21, I think she's turning 22 this year. |

I don't really think this is true. But I have a friend who believes in it and she drives me crazy with it! She's always making stupid comments about how we only have four more years to live and how she wants to be sure she does this and that before it's the end of t he world. I think it's kind of stupid, really. I read an article about it here. I personally am not worried because some nut could decide to blow us up, I could get some horrible illness, I could get in a car accident, etc... And I read the wikipedia thing and if one of the Mayan kings thought that people would be celebrating his accession in 4772 he obviously wasn't too worried about the end of times being in 2012! Also I saw this comic the other day and it fits in here. |

Thanks guys, you made me feel a lot better! Still, I don't know why someone would say something like that. I mean, does it make your day a little better to make someone else's day a little worse? Some people might've went home and had a crying fit over that. It made me mad more than it made me sad. I just can't understand saying something mean like that, I guess it was just to make his friends laugh because he was trying to get cool points with them. He probably is insecure. I heard him making comments about other people too so I wasn't the only "lucky" one. I guess he just thinks he's clever. I do like the idea of the voodoo doll though! Haha! |

I didn't say anything to him, I didn't know what to say, so I just sat there and felt embarrassed. You guys had some good responses thouhg! I hope that someday I will be able to say something to people when they make rude comments like that. I didn't let this ruin my day but it did make me feel bad. There was a time when this sort of commemnt would've made me feel lower than whale **** on the bottom of the ocean, but now i have a little better way of dealing with it.
