Original Post by emilyd22222: Yeah I think we need to turn to renewable energy, but what the heck? Should I pay more taxes to keep myself warm in this "record cold" - global warming era? Or should I hold my breath so I don't release carbon into the atmosphere or let my car warmup in the morning. I'm just waiting on socialized healthcare - so my job security goes out the window (I'm a nurse BTW). But - don't mind me - we all have to "give alittle" right? |

agreed... I just hope he has the courage to lead this nation in the right direction without compromising values for the sake of public opinion. |

I sure hope he's better than Clinton - But so far as I can tell - spending $150 million on an Inauguration party isn't very good start. I know this is a "historic" event - and just so you know, I'm not white. But partying and giving speeches won't fix our economy. I'm not Bush fan, but I know one man cannot be blamed for a world-wide economic crisis. Let's see some action! |
