At night I like hot tea with a little bit of skim milk and splenda. It's a nice sweet treat and hot drinks in the winter time are the best! |

Original Post by triffid2002: I would say to order the size you are now. That's what I did. And then at the beginning of June I'm going to put the dress on and *hopefully* have it altered to fit me better. (I'm also a D-cup so I definitely needed a size 8 to fit my ta tas in) |

Original Post by ohreally_x: Hey there! Our situations are pretty similar. I'm in college as well, I'm actually a senior (eeeeek!) and the bride is a size 0, her sister is like a 2/4, the other sister is a 0... so I feel your pain!! I'm so down to be your partner in the challenge! College is an especially hard time to lose weight because your workload outside of classes varies (I am doing my thesis right now so it's basically never-ending for me...) And in addition to that - your friends want to drag you out for beers and junk food all the time! When I got home tonight my roomates had CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES sitting on the counter!!! (I ran upstairs into my room as fast as I could) What's your situation like? |

First of all - thanks for all the responses! You all have made my day! I've never been part of a weight loss forum before and I think it is a really positive thing that we all can get on here and help one another out. Surprisingly, talking to strangers feels more right than discussing it with friends or family... I need to lose about 30 pounds, but it seems as if I'm going about it a bit differently than most people. I'm trying only to step on the scale once a week (it's hard) and I am not keeping track of my calories. Instead I am focusing more on portion control and eating healthy foods. (I've been really hungry for the past week... haha!) OK ladies so let's keep up the good work!! OH ONE MORE THING- this is a goodie. Has anyone read "French Women Don't Get Fat" ?? It's not a typical diet book, the author combines personal experience with a very sensible approach to changing your lifestyle permanently. It has been the best source of inspiration for me thus far, and I HIGHLY recommend it :) |
