I know that it's scary, but I'll bet you probably ate more food (as in weight and volume, not calories) than you normally do while you were there. Drink lots of water and eat lots of fiber and let it all pass through your GI tract. That might get rid of a few pounds. Just remember that there is nothing you can do except keep moving towards your goal! <3 |

| Health & Support | My Anorexic Brother Calls Me Fat | Apr 08 2009 16:02 (UTC) |

My diet could be called anorexic, and I find that anorexic people tend to use criticism of people eating normal diets to keep themselves motivated. Your brother probably feels hungry all the time, and when he pretends that he's better than you are, he feels better about himself. It's the same thing as playground bullies hurting other kids to make up for their own insecurities.
To stop him from dragging you down with his comments, tell him that he looks like he's losing weight from time to time. It will boost his confidence so that he won't feel like he has to insult you. I know that it sounds like you would be encouraging his disorder, but I personally don't think it will have that effect. Compliment him on other aspects of his appearance more frequently, like when he does his hair or gets a new shirt. If he thinks he looks good, he will feel better, making him less likely to bring you down.
Take care! I hope I helped! |

My family used to take it by the spoonful under the belief that it would help us with allergies. You should be careful if you have allergies, though. One day, my dad must have got a spoonful of everything he's allergic to, and his throat closed up. BE CAREFUL! |

Well, of course, you can't spot reduce, but here's an exercise that works. Basically...think of a dog peeing on a fire hydrant. This exercise is probably best done in the privacy of your own home: 1. Start on all fours. 2. Do this http://fitnessplusmagazine.thetimestribune.co m/homepage/images_sizedimage_012154058/xl
