I was sooooo happy when I stepped on the scale this morning!  I have always been a pear shape and over the last year or two I started gaining more stomach fat (never had that before)  I am finding that I am losing inches everywhere except the stomach.  Anyone have any good tips on how to lose belly fat?

Can I join?  I started at 205 and today I weigh 189.  I still want to lose 43 lbs to get to my goal.  I am 35 and 5'8".  I am counting calories and excercising between 5 and 6 nights per week.  One day I do a cardio/strenth tape (my favorite is Jillian Michael's 30 day shred) along with IT in the treadmill then the next day an hour walking on the treadmill, then repeat.

I haven't logged in for a while.  I am happy to say that I am finally back on track.   Easter through me for a loop and I am embarrased to say that I'm finally back on track.  Ugggg!

I have now lost 15 lbs, but I still don't fit in a smaller size.  That's frustrating.

Finally hit the 10lb mark.  That gave me extra motivation.  Only 40 lbs to go!  LOL

Since we are all pretty tall, how much weight did you all lose before you started to "notice" it?

Ultimately, I excercise to lose weight.  I have tried the tools but find them confusing.  The burn meter says that I burn 2600 calories a day and I don't see how that happens.

What's so unusual?  I can burn 400 calories in one hour on the treadmill.  I was wondering if that was enough to consistently lose weight.  I eat 1500 - 1600 calories a day and my scale keeps going up and down.

I only asked because it has taken me 7 almost 8 weeks to lose 7 1/2 lbs.  Maybe it's me.  LOL!

I was kind of disappointed that I wasn't losing more weight even though I was eating healthy and working out 6 days a week.  I discovered that I wasn't eating enough calories.  Tuesday I started eating 300 more calories a day and I lost 1 lb.  I pray that this keeps up.

I'm kind of frustrated because I have been really doing well with counting calories and I have been excercizing 6 days a week.  My clothes do feel more loose though, so that's a plus.  I also think I've gained an addiction for weighing!  LOL.

I've actually started to see the scale move and I'm losing weight so now I can't wait to work out when I get home from work.  LOL!!

I don't know if you have cable or not, but where I live, we have "on demand." They have free movies and tv programs but also something called "excercize TV."  It's great.  There are tons of excercise programs and they are all free to view.  You'll never get bored.

    Thank you!!!!  I quit smoking a year ago and my metabolism is shot!  The weight just crept up.

    I am trying to lose weight.  Right now I am 5'8" and 205 lbs.  I am trying to get down to 150.  I just started to daily exercise (mostly cardio) for about 30 to 40 minutes.

    I've just started excercising a week ago.  Roughly how long till I see results, a month, two....?
