i also have thick curly hair. every second day i wash with a defrizzing shampoo and condition it. Then i spray lee stafford miracle straightening spray all over my hair for protection from the hair dryer. I dry my hair by using a flat paddle brush and blow dry straight down on my hair, so as you brush down, you take the dryer with it which pre straightens your hair in prep for the straighteners. Its all about smoothing those cuticles and frizz. Next i section my hair and start and nape of neck, take small sections and use ghd straightening irons. For every section of hair, i spray with the straightening spray as you need it to protect your hair from the intense heat. This takes me half hour all in and the results are dead straight hair.hope this helps:) |

All those things that are going on with you are there to test you and see if you will fail. Listen to what you want, not what your tummy wants. In your post you sound like a determined person and are extremely annoyed with the fact that all these obstacles are put in your path to try and sway you onto the path of self destruct. If you find yourself straying, then i suggest taking your mind off it by doing some research into how well you have done so far. It will remind you of why your doing all this. congrats on the giving up smoking by the way. Its hard to do but so worth it. I given up for 3 months now and love the way i dont smell bad anymore and i can smell and taste everything. Keep thinking positive. |

wow. No wonder you're going crazy. Anyone would go mad if they were stuck inside for so long. Your a mother and your instinct is telling you, your baby will be fine to take outside. The only reason i can see why your doctor would tell you not to take your baby outside for the 1st 3 months is if there were complications and your baby needs a little more care than usual. Other than that, common sense will tell you to wrap up your baby against the cold. Also regarding your husband, he is listening to what the doctor told him. I thinkyou should get your husband to read up about the reasons why to not take your baby out. I would have thought fresh air would have been good for the baby as well as yourself. You need to be in the right frame of mind as you have just had your baby and your quite obviously upset. people have been having babies all over the world for many years and mothers and babies are alot tougher than fathers give them credit for. I suggest you go see your sister. It will get rid of the tension in the house from being stuck in for so long |
