Health & Support anyone had a GOOD experience with yaz? Feb 17 2009

I was put on Yaz by my doctor to combat the mood swings that higher-horomone means like the Depo shot were giving me. I have been on it for about 8 months now and I haven't had any bad side effects. My moods swings have dissolved without added anti-depressants/anxiety pills, I have not gained any weight like I did with the shot, and my PMS symptoms have improved 10-fold. I used to have 4-5 day horrendous periods and they're much lighter and about 2-3 days now.

My boobs... I'm naturally large breasted, and even with a little weight loss changed about a half a cup size up. I'm 23, so maybe just my body changing, but no complaints from me on Yaz!

I'm with you on this one! I am 5'4", 211# now. I started doing this dieting/exercise thing right when I hit 225# in October. So far, 14# down, however I find this website EXTREMELY encouraging. I'm not happy we all have to go through this, but I'm glad I have supportive people to turn to.

I have started (on/off) the Atkins program, and am making it work for me. I love my breads and pastas and rice, but I have found that after sticking with it for a few days I feel fabulous! I have lost that bloated feeling, I'm not hungry ALL THE TIME, hell even my skin has improved a bit.

I just joined, and plan on keeping 100% up to date with my food entries and activity log. Just this morning I was thinking I was not in the mood to work out, but once I logged on and that activity chart starred me in the face-- well, let's just say I've got my jogging shoes on already.

Good luck ladies! I would love to chat with some of you about what works for you and your lifestyle.
