If you want to lose i wouldent eat up the calories that you burned off becaus thats just defeating the purpous. If you feel you really need it add a small meal or bar (about 200 calories) after you work out. But if you burn 500 calories at the gym and go home and eat even 350 of it there is really no point now is ther, up your protein for that day using the calories that youalready have. but to get more bang for your hard work at the gym. Dont up your calories by too much or non at all if possible

Its nmost likly fat you really shouldent be gaining so fast. Do you know if your body fat percentage has gone down. Normaly if you gain mussle you lose fat so youd get smaller or stay the same. You should check your calories.

I was a vegetarian who had tried veganism and given up, until an awesome dude from the group Vegan Outreach asked me why I wasn't vegan.  I said "I like the taste of pizza."  He looked at me in horror.

He said "You're going to make some mother cow live in a farm, getting milked by a machine, and having her babies ripped away from her, because you like the taste of pizza??"

I knew he was right and I felt ashamed.  My taste preference was so inconsequential compared to the cow's suffering.

So I said, "No, I'm not.  I'll go vegan."  And I have been for a year now!

(PS, vegan pizza is great!)

 I think that line was all i needed haha:)

Sure i just went grocery shoping.

Heres my list

Granola (add to yogurt)

Organic Yogurt (dont get low cal stuff its made with lots of chemicals)

Cereal (whole grain withfiber like fiber one or kashi they are all good eat one serving and add half a cup of milk and fruit adds up to like 300 cal :)

Skim milk

String cheese (eat in between meals has 7 grams of proten so it will hold you down add a small fruit)

Fiber one or kashi bars (snacking good protine and fiber)

Veggie burgers (taste great and really low cal for dinner)

Whola wheat thin burger bun (whole whaet and only 100 calories a bun)

Juice (with brerakfast counts as a fruit serving)

Light soups (I got 3 campbells cream of mushrooms only 150 calories a cup)

Baby lettuce (eatwith light vinigrett and the soup)

Organic frozen yogurt( only 100 calories a serving and taste great)Amys burritoes (only 300 calories and great for lunch or diner.)

So yeah

I totaly need this is it still under 17 people. Hi im katherine. Holoween would be great i think i might even go trick or treating for the hell of it if i lose enough. I totaly need a chanenge and for someone to see myweight everyweek so that im too embaresed not to lose. Im 17 weigh 205 and im 5ft 6 inches. Holoween is right befor my birthday yaaay. :)

Yes i am refering to activity level, although the whole 1 hour thing helped. If i worked out 3-4 times a week but was seditary other than that what activity level am i?

Thanks, im hopeing it really isent acurate thats really supsetting. Im going to make an apointment with my nutritionist ill ask her about it. I seriously cant see myselfd with such a high percentage of body fat. Mabey around my midsection, but the rest of my body like arms and legs are very muscular even when i dont flex. :( Ill just eat 1400-1500 and exersie 3-6 times a week and see what happenes. Thanks again.

Wow i come back two days later and i get sarcasm and mean people :(. Yes i was asing IF i exersise everyday. i dont exersize everyday now but close to it more like 5 times a week. And ive never said i know more than anyone i dident say that jane was wrong i was just being worried. Im takiing most of her advice and i seriously thought the robot comment was cute and ment it in a nice way ass in she was very informed:( I dont want to waste another week on experimenting. Im trying to exersizing an extra 500 calories a day off and eating 1200-1400 but even then im not losing much weight so im kind of scared to bump my calories up to 1600 if that makes sence. I wanted to know more information from people. Like how to shift my calories so that i can actualy lose 2 lbs a week. if i wat 1600 i maintain and its really frustrating because technacaly im suposed to lose a lot more due to calorie count.

 

Oh and ily51 i hope you werebeing sarcastic, if so you dont need to be a smart ass.

Hahah Jane im convinced your calorie counts robot. Your like always the first to respond and you do it so mechanicaly with facts that no one can deny haha sry just thought id mention it. My maintnance is 2000 calories why should i eat 1000 calories over maintnance even if it is just for one day,  that will undoo a whole day or two of work. Ill take your other advice after my week starts over on wensday wich is weigh in day. For now i have to undo a bad start to this week. Also why is it considerd crash dieting if im eating over 1200 a day andive been eating like this for 1 month or more can i really start over at 1500 and still lose weight? Im kinda scared to try.

Um well You should eat every 3 hours like 3 meals a day and 3 snacks in between like:

Breakfast

Oatmeal instant packet (160 calories)

1/2 cup skim milk (40 calories)

1 cup orange juice (100 calories)

Snack

1 granola or trail mix bar (140 -180 calories)

Lunch

1 peach (40 calories)

2 slices of whole wheat bread (140 calories)

1 tbsp penut butter (100 calories)

1 tbsp jelly (50 calories)

Snack

1 fat free Yogurt (exaples:Fiber one, Weight watchers, Yoplait light) (100 calories)

1 cup strawberries (50 calories)

Diner

1 searving whoal wheat pasta (200 calories)

1/4 cup alfredo sauce (100 calories)

1 cup broccoli (50 calories)

2-3 cups lettuce (20 calories)

2 tbsp light dressing (50 calories)

Snack

Of choosing 100 calories

Um measure everything and weight yourself once a week because you may lose 2 pounds one day then gain onw pound anfd think you were gaining and forget you lost that one pound anyway

The diffrence is just so much greater.

Feel free to like substetute things with same calories.

Try eating every 3 hours! LOL i know it dosent sound liek it would help but it will tust me. You think youd make it longer without eating if you just dont but you will be picking at foods that arent good for you throught the day and you will not have had sitten down to have a good meal and enjoyed it but instead have had felt as if you had eaten nothing while haveing had 2 times the amount of calories that you wanted to eat in the first place. Hope that makes sence Plan your meals in advanced. Plan to eat. Then you wouold not be so crazy abou eating when your around food because you have had a full meal. Um ALSO...Yeah you sound kinda sick you shouldent be scared of eating in front of people. Um If you can run your not that fat lets just say that.

I'll take my icecream whenever I really want it, with whipped cream & extra dinosaur sprinkles, thank you! & I'm proud to be a witty athletic girl, strong enough to snap a skinny bitch in half, but nice enough not to do it.

 

 Yeah Um veganism is not only to lose weight and its not a trend its been around for years for many good reasons. What she ment by that little read is that the dairy insusty is discusting and that milk has been proven to be contaminated mostly with things that can harm your body. There is actualy reaserch done for this you should really read up befor you go on an insulting rant. You can be fat and a vegan btw there are plenty of other things you can over eat on, its just very unlikly that you will die of other heart clogging disease. If it was a trend as you had stated, why are most vegans helthier then meat and dairy eaters. Im not even vegan and i understand this. Acting bawlsy dosent make you better than a skiny bitch as that is what you were doing in this abnoxious comment. And as for normal ...ha, cancer and crime is becoming normal now a days, just because something is dosent mean that it should be. Im not saying turn vegan just that it made me upset that you are so easy to insult a clearly better way of living (as proven by many studies). Your the one dooped by stupid propaganda.
