Christmas Miracle Challenge!

Last Week's Goals: mostly accomplished

This Week's Goals: Control night cravings! Also, still shooting for 10 minutes of exercise a day, and no weighing in until next Friday so I don't get disappointed before then! Goal weight for next week is 161.6!

September 20: 170

October 2: 169.2

October 9: 166.0

October 16: 165.6

October 23: 165.6

November 6: 167.6

November 13: 167.2

November 20: 163.2!

Good week for me! 4 pounds weight loss! Although, to be fair, my TOM last week probably didn't allow for accurate weights, but who cares. I'm very pleased, especially since my Wii Fit Plus is telling me I am in a healthy weight zone now! Yay! I revised my weight goal for Christmas to 155, I just don't think 150 is possible at this point after slacking so badly. But I'm back on the wagon full-throttle, I have a system that works for me (finally) and I'm finally ready to finish losing the weight! Hope everyone else is doing well. See you next week~

This Week's Goals: Don't let no weight loss get to me. Just keep in mind that ll my hard work will eventually pay off, even if it doesn't happen right away. Also, at least 10 mins of exercise daily. 10 minutes shouldn't be too hard to achieve.

Hey everyone~ Posting a little late, but it was because my TOM started, so I didn't want to record my weight to see if it dropped again in these few days, but it hasn't. I've been really good lately though. I've been doing some light exercise, and I have been eating well everyday. It's hard to keep going when nothing is happening on the scale, but I'm pretty determined. I wanna see those numbers go down. So I'll stick with it, and hopefully will have better progress next week. Looks like everyone else is doing well! I hope we all look super good for Christmas! Mucho love everyone.

I've been slacking. Obviously. I'm making some bad choices. But enough. I look at this horrible horrible excuse for a weigh-in as a personal challenge. There are no excuses for this. I'm WAY off course for my Christmas goal, but I still want to see exactly how much I can lose before then. I'm done with the off-on dieting. From now on I'm gonna get off my lazy butt and exercise everyday. I'm gonna eat right, clean up this messy house, and take care of my family how they deserve to be taken care of. My Mom was always in control of everything. I'm done being controlled by my laziness and by my mess. I want to be like my Mom. I want to be in control. And it will happen. You better believe that.

I've been sooooo bad lately. I think it might be because we FINALLY got food stamps again this week so we went grocery shopping and of course we went nuts with junk food and stuff because we haven't been able to get it in so long. But no more of that. From now on I log EVERYTHING and exercise even on the days when I'm not motivated to. Also - I'm not stepping on the scale again until next week. I'm tired of getting discouraged every single day if I didn't lose anything or as much as I wanted to. I will get much more satisfaction out of seeing pounds lost at a time rather than 0.2 pounds everyday.

Hope everyone else is doing alright~ Let's do it!

This Week's Goals: Staying strong on the diet, now just need to exercise daily! Even when I'm being super lazy. It will pay off~ But also: a BIG goal - don't overdo it! I always seem to. Also, goal weight for next Friday: 164.0!

Alright, so not a ton of weight loss this week, but I'm just happy to see any weight loss at all after the roller coaster of a week it's been for me. Between dining out, having my TOM, having unexpected vacation days from work and then unexpectedly having to go back to work, etc. I actually got back up to 167.0 this week, so I will take 165.6. Totally. I doubt at this point that I will make 150 by Christmas, but I can sure try to get close! I may revise my goal weight though. We will see. Good luck everybody~!

Christmas Miracle Challenge!

Last Week's Goals: VERY much achieved!

This Week's Goals: Going to be dining out in a few days. Doing good on diet and exercise, but my goal is to not let that one dining out experience make me go over calories!! Stay on track! Research food from the place I'm going and choose something yummy and low in calories.

Lost 3.2 pounds this week, which means I'm back on track to be at 150 on Christmas! 16 pounds to go. 76 days left. Still about 0.21 pounds I need to lose daily, but it seems to be really working out. Now I'm just PRAYING that I don't get a plateau before then. I'm sticking with it! I wanna look good in those Christmas pictures, dang it!! Lol.

 Wow, we are really alike. My SW was 170, my weight now is 166.4, and my GW is 150! We should keep in touch and motivate each other.

As for the Christmas challenge~ I'm struggling to keep up with my big goal, but I'm still on track. I have been steadily losing 0.2 pounds a day (even though I wa shoping for more this morning! oh well), and I'm supposed to lose 0.2 pounds a day to reach my goal on time. So, I'm on track but I would like to be AHEAD of my goal. Lol.

Looks like everyone else is gettin' motivated to lose weight with the holiday season approaching too! Let's do it everyone!! Excited to weigh in tomorrow!

This Week's Goals: Focus on diet. All the yoga and exercise in the world isn't going to help me if I overeat. Try to have discipline at night when my hunger kicks in. My goal by next Friday is to weigh 167.2.

This week went pretty well. I had one day that I lost control of my diet, and I ended up undoing all the hard work I had done that wekk, but I seem to have lost the weight again, so I'm pretty happy about that. I started doing yoga and it seems to be working well for me even though I don't even feel like I'm doing anything. Like I said, I really just need to focus on my diet.

Yay! 1.6 pounds this week! Probably not gonna make my goal by Wednesday, but I'll still try my best! Yoga is doing wonders for me. Which is weird, because when I'm doing it I feel like I'm not doing anything at all! But then when i'm done I realize that I'm sweating and my heart is going. Crazy! I think I'm safely out of the 170s for good now. Yay! Looks like everyone else is doing alright too. Glad to know it. Good luck for Wednesday everyone! Keep it up!

Hey all~! Happy to see some new faces! I'm really stoked about this challenge. And so far I'm doing pretty well! One of my goals that I set for myself was to weigh 169.0 on Friday, but that happened today! Yay! But I will keep my goal the same just in case my weight decides to go up again. But so far so good!

Argh~ no weight loss this week. Luckily it didn't go up. I'm just starting to get back in the groove of exercising, so hopefully better numbers next week. Hey guys! Haven't posted here in forever. Needless to say, my weight has gone down a bit.

I need to exercise. I think that's why I've been plateauing lately. I'm eating right (mostly) but nothing is happening. Anyone have any good suggestions about effective exercises that don't require any equipment at all?

Also, I'm thinking of joining a gym. Anyone that has joined one before, how much was the membership for you and was it worth it?

I'm not sure if this is the answer to your problem, but it wa sthe answer to mine~

I was doing the same thing - except only at night. I would do really REALLY well all day long, and then as soon as night rolls around I won't stop eating even when I'm so full I could explode. I posted a question about it in one of these forums, and one person said that it was because I wasn't allowing myself enough calories during the day time, and my body was trying to over-compensate at night. And as it turne dout, it was because I was doing so well during the day. TOO well. I wasn't eating enough. So now I try to accomplish eating at least 2/3 of my daily calorie limit during breakfast and lunch, and if I notice I'm running low, I grab a snack before it gets to be 4-5:00. It REALLY helps me manage my cravings at night. It works.

But if you're looking for foods that will help satisfy, I would recommend FiberOne bars. They are delicious~ about 150 cals each and taste like cookies! And not only that but the fiber helps you feel full. Also, Fuze drinks. They are about 10 cals a bottle, and help manage your hunger because of all the vitamins in it.

Hello! I would love to join. I don't know wht my weight was on the 1st because I didn't weigh myself that day, so I will just start counting from the 4th. As for me, I am a long time CC loser! I've lost 15.5 pounds since I started here. I fell off the wagon when I moved because I didn't have internet but now I do and so I'm back! Luckily when I fell off I didn't actually gain anything, just didn't lose anything. Phew! But I'm gonna pull out my ab lounge today and get crazy on it! Also I'm going to start monitoring what I eat on CC again. I haven't been doing that lol.

Wow I'm so hapy this is still going. I moved and had no internet for a while. But I've been alright on my diet (not great, but not bad). I am down to my lowest weight ever! 171.8! I'm hoping to see the 160s by the time this thing is over, but I'm not going to make my goal lol. I'm glad everyone is doing well! Good luck for this last week!!

Ok, I gained a few pounds.

Up to 178.0 today. But I know it is my own fault, I haven't even been counting calories lately. All I can say for myself is that I am re-commited. I need to stop making excuses for my bad behavior, and just freaking do what I have to do already instead of bumming around.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go exercise. =D

Whoops~ Didn't weigh myself yesterday. I've just been so busy it's been nuts! But I weighed this morning at 174.2 and I'm happy! I really thought I was going to gain..... I've been bad on my diet lately. But it gives me motivation to stick with it! I'm gonna go workout on WiiFit for a bit since my household isn't even awake yet.....heh. I'm an early bird.

tomatotomata - You're a genius~ I never would have thought to go to the library for workout dvds. I'm going to have to try that. Maybe it will give me some added motivation as well. Anyways, good luck everyone!

So, I weighed myself today thinking it was Sunday for some odd reason..... But I was pleased. I hope it sticks around for tomorrow, and even moreso than that - I'm gonna see if I do a power workout today how much I can lose by tomorrrow. That'd be sweet. I have a lot of stuff to do today though so we'll see what happens.

Only 2 more weeks until I have to move out of this apartment complex, which means bye bye free gym. And free swimming pool. I wonder how expensive it is to go to a public gym? Anyone have any clue? Anyways, good luck tomorrow everybody!
