Not a good week for me, I actually gained a pound Cry

I completely rearranged my schedule and I'm having a hard time getting my excercise fit in. A new week is starting though, and this one will be better! Just have to turn the frustration into motivation.

Fridays are great for me, I tend to weigh in then and then 'start' my weeks on Sunday.  This week is not off to a good start for me (Dairy Queen and a late night Arby's run, but I managed to stay at maintenance instead of completely blowing it) but that will be the ONLY day this week that I fall off the wagon.  The weather should be good enough for me to get a walk in and if not there is always Netflix.

Good luck this week!! Lets ditch some of this flab!

Hi, I'd like to join. I'm looking too loose a total of 85 lbs, but 55 by December seems like a good goal. I'm 5'2 and currently weigh 219. My plan, that works when I'm a good girl, is eating around 1350 and a total burn of about 2300. I'm trying to get walking exercise 5 days a week of at least 45 mins. I'm trying to find good exercise videos for when the weather is bad. I love netflix watch instantly, it lets me try different types of work outs.

Good luck to us all!

I want to do flips and cartwheels. That's my reason.

Also to buy a pair of knee-high boots that fits.

Oh and to do cosplay. Fat girls can't do cosplay.

I wanna do cosplay!! My hubby keeps trying to talk me into it and all I can think about is how silly I must look even though he tells me I look fine.  What a great reason!

but I don't seem to lose any inches.... Well from the tape anyways....

My clothes and my looks sure says a different thing.....

Perhaps I am just working out the wrong areas???? Arrrghhh.

I feel the same way. I've lost almost 20 lbs, dropped a pant size and the waist measurements don't change with the tapes.

you have to realize that bra size is a ratio of the measurement around the ribs and around the breasts themselves.  The difference between the two numbers determines the A, B etc. So while you've lost weight around your middle and the measurement around your ribs has dropped while you lost body fat your breasts haven't dropped as far so the difference between them has gotten bigger and thus your cup size has gone up.  I recently found out (due to finding someone at Victoria Secret who actually knew something, weird cuz its a mall job) that if, like me, you are a DD and having a hard time finding bras you can go from a 32DD to a 34D and the bra will have a really good chance of fitting.  It works Sealed  Here is a link with the info on bra sizes http://www.intimateguide.com/products/article s/ultimate/ ;

As for the jeans I feel your pain.  The 22s I still have can still be worn. Its sorta depressing.  My suggestion (Its great for the ego) is to go to the store and try on pants. I can wear 18s too.

I work nights and before this second shift (3pm-11pm plus overtime) I have to force myself to eat at regular intervals and sleeping is hard because I'm always thinking of things I'd like to do during the day but changing it isn't in the cards right now.  I'm just going to have to work harder at being healthier.

I do this with steel cut oats all the time.  My recomendation for reheating is to put a wet paper towel over the top before you microwave to keep them from drying out.  If reheating on stove top a little liquid added may be a good idea.  I don't like regular oats nor quick cook, but I love steel cut ones.

I make a big batch and eat all week.  6 cups water, 1 1/3 cup steel cut oats.  Bring water to boil add cinnamon and some vanilla and a little salt, add oats, bring back to boil cook 1/2 an hour.  I sometimes cook it with crushed pineapple or else add some no sugar added apple pie filling after its done.  Apple sauce works well too. One trick I learned for reheating is to put a wet paper towel over the top, keeps it from drying out in the microwave.

My mom got her masters online through an the University of Phoenix. I think they are considered at the top of the online schools.  She also worked her butt off. Just because she can fit many things around her own schedule did not excuse her from getting things in.  She was required to participate over the week in forum discussions that took the place of class room interaction, had papers and projects due on a regular basis.  She didn't have to ever do any meetings that I'm aware of, the closest was a project or two where her team mates would meet in a chat program and work together.
