Weight Loss Yet another Burn Meter question - and I'm not a newb'! Mar 18 2009

To harmonpl,

Thank you so much for the website www.phord.com/cc.  Wow, that makes it so much easier to understand and also, gave me a more realistic daily calorie intake.  this site (CC) tells me I should consume 1650 per day, and the site above says only 1533.  I have always known that 1650 was too much, cause I won't lose any weight.  I try to keep my intake between 1300-1400, but now I know I can eat just a little more and still lose, or so it says, 2 lbs. per week.  I love CC and am so greatful for having found it, but this new site is a little more accurate cause you can enter your measurements too.

It is a great tool to use in addition to CC.  Thank you very much.  Lisa

To nsammiee,

I know exactly how you feel girl!!!  This site told me my daily intake should be 1650. On that many cals. I didn't lose a lb. in 3 weeks.  I know my body and I knew I couldn't lose weight on that many calories.  I also know that alot of people are telling you to eat more calories, but my advice is to tweek it to just under 1400 cals a day and you will see a drastic change.  Just try it for two days, at just under 1400, and you will see the difference.  I know it's hard but if you can cut just 200 off daily you will see the lbs, come off.  Good luck!!      &nb sp;  Lisa

If you read the statement it says, The "spokesperson for AIG" says it is an unsubstanstiated claim.  What else would the spokesperson for AIG say.  Also, who is fact checking who on that website???

The reason that AIG took a large portion of the bailout money is because this company is responsible for the retirement packages for the United States Congress and Senate.  And that is the reason why Obama cares.  The government, including our wonderful president, has a large interest in this company and keeping the exec's happy.  Period...
