My number one would probably have to be straight Wishbone Italian Salad Dressing. It tasted great at the time.

You are not alone; every one of my friends think that I consume the chocolate in my fridge; truth is, I can never bring myself to swallow it (this happens with other foods as well, but just for example's sake). I know that it's extremely wasteful, but it's so, so difficult to stop once you've gotten accustomed to it, you know?

My roommate once walked in as I was about to spit into the sink; I quickly pretended that I had some kind of mouthwash in my mouth (it was really half-masticated food) and motioned that I was going to go to the restroom. I ended up having to spit into the toilet, but my roommate never suspected anything.

The biggest tip that I can give you, as far as weight goes: don't drink when you go to college. I'm not talking about for some high academic or moral reason, I'm just saying that drinking in excess will go straight to your gut. Most of the people I went to high school with that I see around campus are now fat because of regular binge drinking.

In terms of general life management, the biggest word is BALANCE. Between making friends, keeping up your GPA, and staying the course on your diet and exercise program, it's a lot of work. Just try to lead a very balanced existence, one factor not overpowering the others, and you should be fine. :)

I SHOULD tell you right now to stop your anorexic course, but that would be the most hypocritical thing I could say to you.

Best of luck!

Any soy product, really, tastes absolutely incredible to me, but tofu in particular. My roommate jokes about how odd I am that I actually like to eat tofu by itself, or mixed in a very basic manner with some tomatoes and olives. I really have to watch my soy intake because of how much I like the stuff...

I used to have the hugest cravings for junk food: it didn't even mean that I was necessarily HUNGRY, I just wanted the food because of how it made me feel for the first five minutes after consuming it.

Something that has really, really worked for me:

Besides finding out the nutritional information of your food before you consume it (which certainly CAN help greatly), also make a point to find out where your favorite junk foods come from.

For example, after seeing the movie Super Size Me, I haven't gotten anything from McDonald's in over two years. After reading about where the food from Burger King, KFC, White Castle, etc. comes from, not ONLY have my cravings stopped entirely, but I've also become a vegan. I've lost 30 pounds total thus far using this technique of being well-informed - perhaps it could work for you.

Best of luck!

I choose almond milk over skim milk... but that's because I'm vegan. :)

I actually haven't cheated the entire time I've been on my diet (which people tell me is "absolutely impossible"), but I think that's primarily because my palate has changed. When I do get a "craving," it's for veggies or (at the very worst) a nutrition bar. All of the "good, yummy" foods I used to eat when I was 30 pounds heavier are now completely unappetizing.

I think that for someone at your height, 145 sounds the most practical. If you get down to that weight and don't feel comfortable with your body (since everyone is built differently), you can always go a bit lower if you care to (though it would probably be best to consult a doctor before you do if you want your BMI to be under 18.5).

Haha! I've given up chocolate and alcohol myself (though, being at a university and all, this makes socializing rather difficult considering one or the other is almost always readily available at every social gathering :P).

I think that a lot of how a size fits has to do with the cut and style of the article in question. For example, at 5'4" and 126 pounds, I'm currently a size 5/6 Aeropostale jean, but a 3/4 Old Navy jean.
