I would definitely give back money that I've seen fall from someone's pocket or purse/wallet.

I've had that happen to me, so I ALWAYS return the favor/respect by giving back something I've found.  I've had $150 fall from my wallet during Christmas time shopping and a lady and her son were kind enough to follow me to my car and return it to me.  I was very very grateful and I've vowed to do the same when/if that happens to me.  In return for my giving me back my bundle of bills, I gave the little boy one of the gift cards that I had just purchased from the store.  That made me feel good and I'm glad I gave it to him because he turned right back around and went back into the store to go spend it.  Smile

The Lounge Has anyone noticed an excess of threads being revived from 2007? Apr 23 2009

I'm guilty of reviving old threads  Embarassed

It's not because I'm trying to annoy people, I promise. lol

It's just that after I've read a thread in which I've found interesting, I tend to take a gander at the poster's profile.  Then I wonder over to the link (in their profile) that shows what threads they have started in case I find other threads I like.  Then I'll reply in their thread.  I really hadn't payed attention to the dates of said threads.  I just reply to threads I've found interesting.

Kiss My Butt: To the girl at TJmaxx for taking a picture of me with her cell phone camera.  I was wearing Capri pants, they were not high waters!  (I'm assuming that's why she was taking a picture of me.  especially since her phone was aimed right at my ankles and I KNOW I shaved my legs this morning)

I'm just short so Capri's look high water on me Cry

That's the last time I wear Capris unless I sew and hem them up about 6 inches.

I GOT THEM DONE you guys!

Many many thanks for all the replies.  They are pulsating just a little, but nothing major.  The initial, needle into the skin, hurt.  But once they were finished, they felt fine.

I'm so excited!

LOL

That's really funny! I can imagine cellulitedelight sorting through her cereal and piling up all the raisins on the side.  haha

I'm sure if the raisins weren't meant to be eaten, then there would be some sort of indicator telling the consumer to throw them away and NOT to eat them.  I guess kind of like these things that you find in brand new shoe boxes, or coat pockets.  A warning label on the box, perhaps?

Original Post by wobbly:

I think it is an ideal time for parents to explain to children about disability or any differences in people.

We are not all the same, some wear glasses, some red hair some spots some fat some thin. All children should ne taught at an early age to love everyone, we cant help being what we are!

I agree.  That's a perfect opportunity to explain to their children, that everyone IS different.  And that it's ok if they're different because someday, whether they're at school or somewhere else, somebody else may make fun of them because they're different.

Think about it.  What would happen if (God forbid) they get into some sort of accident, and lose a limb.  Are they suppose to assume that they too, are scary? No. People are different.

These parents who see this lady as "scary" are just teaching their kids to judge people at such an early age.  I think it's very sad.

Bet you would've gotten a free lunch though.

True True...

BUT...

It wasn't the ladybug's fault. She was probably hiding for dear life when they were rinsing the lettuce leafs.

.....now, if I had found a booger, hair or something equally disgusting, I would have complained right away. Not only would I have gotten my meal for free, but I would have gotten them to give me a gift certificate for later too... :/

my mom found a pube in the crust of a pizza once -_-

 Ok, now that was gross!

Once I found a long, black, curly curly curly hair embedded in the dough and glaze of a donut.  I only realized that it was there after taking a bite.  I was like, "Ewww" then I picked up the donut by the hair.  The funny/gross part, was that long, black, curly hair was strong enough to hold the donut!

I took the donut to the front counter holding it by the hair like a pendulum, swinging all over the place.  lol
