Okay I am down 2 this week so I feel much better.  I am about 10 lbs away from my goal.  Next weekend I am going on a trip for the holiday so the next week I'm going to try to be really good.

Wow, I am shocked.  I am down -.6 and I didn't even try!   That is the first time the scale has gone down in quite a number of weeks so that's encouraging.  Last weekend I spent at a resort with lots of eating and drinking pina coladas.

amseek, I know how you feel.  I can't run anymore either so I walk on the treadmill on an incline instead.  I hate that it takes longer to do my three miles.

I'm back.  I basically had a 3 week hiatus since I was on doctors orders not to work out.  I proceeded to eat whatever I wanted and now I am + 3 for the 3 weeks.  The party is over.

I've been released from the doctor so let's start again, shall we?  I'm not letting a measly 3 lbs get me down.

2624 you are doing great!  I found your 3 lbs, hahaha!  I bet you can make your goal.  Is something happpening on August 20?

I'm off to a company event over the weekend at a resort so wish me luck.  I am bringing workout clothes and plan to use them!!

Yes, I know it's Tuesday but I didn't weigh myself on Friday.  For some reason,  since I am on docs orders not to work out, I have been eating everything instead of watching it more closely than before and have put on a few.  I'm already sick of it, so I am back to counting and brought my lunch today.   I'll repost when I start to lose again.  Frustrating!

I didn't show up here on Friday because I was too depressed.  On Wednesday I went to the doc and I have tendonitis in my knee and I cannot exercise for at least 3 weeks!  So I have to watch what I eat really carefully but instead I was bummed and binged on everything.  Friday officially I was up +2 but this being Monday I am the same I was as last Monday which is -1 from Friday. 

Ack, I know that probably didn't make sense, but the gist of it is, I am going to try harder this week.  I need to stick to my intake and I'm going to the gym to do upper body.

I have very long hair and I get that comment too.  When someone says "your hair is long", I just say "I know".  I mean really, what do you say?   Tell them something about themselves?  Maybe like "your shirt is blue" or "your eyes are green".  Thanks for telling me?  I don't know its crazy!

I am so jealous!  I am down -.6, but I'm at the same weight I was a month ago.

You did awesome, I only worked out on Monday and I hurt my knee and after that I didn't try very hard.  Ugh.  I really have to get back on on track.

Good for you 2624 you were very disciplined this week!

Well, I didn't show up on Friday cuz I didn't want to have to say I was +3!  I know, horrible!  For the past week and a half I had a lot of social engagements, weekend company, lots of partying.  I figure it is a minor setback for living life and got back on track today (Monday).  I hate having to re-lose it.  I was in the 120s and now I'm back to 131.

Good for you though 2624, how did the weekend go?

I'm late today but I'm here.  Down 1.6 but I didn't have any dinner last night so its not really a good comparison to last week.  I'll check again tomorrow.

Ok I think it may just be my knee and not specific to running.  Today I did aerobics and it made my knee ache too.  I will try doing the strength training.

I am not running on concrete, only on the treadmill, and I have brand new shoes that are really great.

HANG IN THERE! 1 pound is okay-- you can get that off in no time! 

I'm -2 this week to 128.8.  My goal is 120 but I can already tell I'll need to lose about 5 more than that.  I have more than 8 lbs hanging on that could go.

I know a lot of girls that like football.  I even like it a little bit.  :)

Healthe' Trim has something going on with the radio stations because every station personality here locally is on it (or says they are) and they all do the commercials, say they lost 20 lbs in 5 days, and even have a link to buy it on their website.  When I Googled it, I got a hit on a radio station that was advertising it and had testimonials by their DJs too.

I am going to have to try that diva trick next time! 

My tip is I always carry healthy snacks.   I get very anxious about food while traveling.  What if I get stuck in an airport for who knows how long?  What food will be available whenever I get to where I'm going?   Having some healthy options with me takes the edge off.

I just got back from an overnight trip and I had Kashi granola bars, turkey jerky, and an apple with me.  I knew I had a suite with a microwave and refrigerator so I brought my own pre-measured oatmeal for breakfast and some microwave popcorn in case I wanted a snack in the evening.  I was glad that I had my oatmeal because the free breaky provided by the hotel had nothing healthy on it. 

Sometimes I eat one of my healthy snacks before going out to dinner with everyone and that keeps me from being ravenous and eating the bread on the table or overeating when my entree comes.

And ALWAYS travel with workout clothes.  If there is nowhere to walk, no fitness center, no pool or anything, you can always use the stairway as your stairmaster.

Nice to meet ya!  Are we the only two who weigh on Friday?  I used to weigh Saturday mornings but I would have horrible anxiety about not being able to go out to happy hour or out to dinner Friday nights so I changed it.  It has worked out well for me.

Hi there and welcome!  I grew up in the Mountain State and my folks live in Charleston.

I second kawnd11, use the tools on the site to find out how many calories you should eat to lose and log everything on here to keep track.  There is a lot of support here.

Hey there, its me Joy.  I changed my user name.  Still couldn't think of anything clever, haha.

Congrats on your loss!  It's especially satisfying when you lose after a week of excess. 

I'm calling it -1 this week.  I got a new scale which weighs in .2 increments.  My old scale weighs in .5 and I wanted credit for every fracion, LOL.  Old scale last week 132, thiis week 131, and new scale 130.8. 

This means I have crossed over the 20 lb mark and am now 10 lbs of my goal of 120!

When I was there, I had a backpack and in the morning would stop at a shop and got a baguette with ham and cheese, a pastry, a bottle of water.   Stash it in the backpack and spend the day walking around (also you will want to master the subway/train.  Once you have that down, you can go anywhere!)

Anyway, whenever I got hungry for lunch, I would plop down and have lunch out of my backpack.  Once I ate on the grounds at Versailles.  Once I ate in the beautiful rose garden of the Rodin Museum.  This museum is a must-see in my book.  The Thinker is there and it has a lot of outdoor sculptures, it's not really "museumy". 

Trust me, the baguettes are not "just a roll". If you love bread, you will die when you taste them.   I have yet to find anything in the states that even came close to what I had in Paris. 

And I'm not ashamed to say my eyes welled up when I stepped into Notre Dame.  It was sooo beautiful!

Congrats 2624!  That is awesome!

I am the same this week.  No gain/no loss.  However, I went out for Mexican food twice and also indulged in drinking so I don't mind. 

However, I did figure out that since my scale only weighs in .5 increments, it always rounds up!  So I am gonna get a new scale, I want credit for every ounce. heee heeeee

I am .5 away from the 20 lb mark.  I was hoping to get there this week, but maybe next week.

I found out the house is on a cliff with like 50 steps down to the dock.  My friend told me thats how I could get my work out. LOL>
