Weigh in day ugh.

LW-234

Well, didn't lose anything this week. Did have donuts and soda so I'm not going to pretend to be surprised. I did an "ON DEMAND" workout a few times too, one was perfect but I did do one that kicked my butt. There are so many to choose from. I need to start them up again.

Good luck ladies.

One day late again lol

My weight always fluctuates but it is moving in the Right direction finally. I've been trying to make better decisions when eating. I've been broke so its been oatmeal for dinner almost every night so that helps. I still have not been exercising regularly but I'm going to continue to find motivation to get me moving.

Haven't been seeing alot of posts up ladies. Good luck to everyone and keep on keeping on!

So, I haven't posted since June 26 and I've pretty much maintained at the same weight over the summer (which wasn't my intentions Frown). But, with the end of summer nearing I plan to put an end to my unhealthy ways....again lol. Time just keeps ticking and I keep remaining the same so this time I really want it to be IT. I'm really going to work on it today forward.

Everyday is filled with so many choices and its so hard to make the right one all the time. But, I'm trying to start over again, not punish myself because that only makes me want to eat something bad even more. Next weigh in I am starting over with a new start weight and am trying to put my all into it this time. Food food will always be here, I won't and I don't want to live the rest of my life limited by m weight.

Good luck to all the other women struggling with the battle of the buldge. With a little determination anything is possible, as we have seen from some of the success stories in this group.

Well last week we had a party at work and all of us have been eating the leftover snacks all week. I'm trying to get back on track though, I'm determined not to eat a single snack today.

Yesterday I worked out, did an aerobics taping with Jillian Micheal, plan on doing it again tonight and as much as possible until I can keep up with those skinny winches lol.

Good luck to all and keep pushing toward your goals. Its so so hard but our health is at risk.

kandi,

I'm sorry about your uncle and in light of his passing I think it's ok to be gentle with yourself and jump back in when you are ready.  Keep going!!  You are headed in the right direction.

Thank you for the kind words. My Uncle was always a happy person and I know he'd want me to be happy and I'm just not happy with this weight so I do plan on trying harder. Next week I hope I have something to jump about lol.

As you can see I've been really struggling. My plan was to come back from vacation with a renewed motivation for my weight loss. But, the day after I got back my uncle passed and I haven't really felt like getting back in the groove. I know I need to stop making excuses. I had lost 5 pounds the first month I started CC and had been lingering around 227 but after a few weeks off I went up to 239. Well I'm back down to around when I started and I'm trying everyday to get my motivation back. Good luck ladies and congrats to all who are winning the battle and the war!Wink

I just came back from vacation Monday night then I was at the hospital all day yesterday so I forgot to weigh in. I went to Virginia Beach this weekend and threw my diet out the window. I did do alot of walking and dancing though so hopefully it'll balance it out. I'll see when I weigh myself. Congrats to everyone who lost weight, its hard and you should be proud of yourselves!

Didn't lose anything Frown, but that's ok. I'm just now trying to get back in the groove. Now that I see if I slack just for a week or so I'll shoot back up to the same weight. I used a workout from Exercise Tv last night and had trouble keeping up. My goal is to be able to keep up eventually lol. I plan to do it   before bed in addition to walking sometime during the day. Well, I'll be on vacation this week but hopefully I can lose a 1lb or 2.

Its weigh in tomorrow, ugh. I've been up and down 5 pounds all week so I don't know what tomorrow will bring. I walked twice over the past week so thats a step up for me. I know I need to increase my exercise and consistency. I also need to get back to being strict with my diet. Thats going to be hard after falling off the wagon for a couple weeks. I'm going to Virginia Beach this weekend and I plan on walking on the beach/boardwalk for exercise and I'll try not to go overboard. I'll be back tomorrow for weigh in...even though I don't wanna lol.

So I was supposed to be trying to get on track yesterday...I did walk for 30 minutes and my meals were pretty well rounded. But, I gave in to an after dinner snack. Its like a law for me, if there is ice cream in the house I'll eat it lol. I stopped having it around but now I have a half gallon left over from Mother's Day and temptation wins everytime. I rather eat ice cream than dinner! Its truely my one and only weakness...that and cola lol. But I shall try to fight the ice cream monkey off my back tonight.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I don't know why its so hard for me to "just do it". I know I need it, my body needs it, and my wallet does too because I can't afford a bigger wardrobe this summer lol. I'm really going to try to give 100% this week and we'll see at next week's weigh in.

My first two months on CC only resulted in a 4lb lost, I pretty much stuck to my diet but didn't exercise. For the last week or so I've been eating whatever I want and I'm really struggling to get back to a healthy eating mind-set. Tomorrow I will try again.

Pimmypammy- I'm going through the same thing. I've been off my diet the past week also. I was just tired of not being satisfied after I eat. I'm trying to get back on the wagon now though. Finding fulfilling foods that are also healthy is a bit of a challenge, especially with my options at work. I really need to start cooking at home and bringing my lunch in.

Zhodes- I hope you are coping with these sudden events in your life better. Its always hard to deal with events like these head on but that is a much heathier way than not dealing with them at all. From your sister's actions it sounds like she really needs some love and attention and maybe spending some time with her will help you both. Good luck.

Well I went away for the weekend and definitely indulged so I'm not suprised. I've gotten new found motivation from watching the Biggest Loser last night. I even tried to fix the treadmill but it still is giving me an error message Frown. I guess I need to just throw it out and get to walking outside lol.

Meyer- For breakfast I usually eat mini wheats and 1% milk which is about 300 cals or I'll have egg beaters and turkey sausage for about the same amount of calories. For lunch usually a turkey burger with cheese  on a sesame bun= about400 calories. Then, I have about  600 calories to play with for dinner & snack. If I go over my usually calories for breakfast and lunch while at work I usually just eat two packs of instant oatmeal which are just 130 calories each and come in many varieties. Once you find things you really like that have reasonable calories it becomes easier. It also helps to bring in food to work, I bring in my cereal and a bottle of milk for the week and some fruit or Fiber one bars for snack.

My problem lately has been at lunch, getting my turkey burger plus other things and sometimes soda (I need to lay off of soda again).

Some low cal foods that are yummy for me are:

stir fry veggies and brown rice

oatmeal

frosted mini wheats

turkey burgers

egg beater

turkey and wheat sandwhich

Fiber One Bars

Hi all! Tomorrow is the dreaded weigh in day. I went away last weekend to visit a friend in NJ and boy did I go off the deep end. I ate out everyday,Chinese, Ihop, and McDonald's! I've been doing ok since coming back home, taking in a daily caloric intake of 1600. But I'm really trying to get back down to 1300 calories a day. This was my daily intake a couple months ago when I first started CC. Lately I can't get under 1600. I have a very sedentary job/lifestyle so I really need to get back down to 1300 to see results.

Hi Jen, one thing I eat regularly is oatmeal and frosted mini wheats. The mini wheats are filled with fiber and a bowl each morning keeps me going. I eat oatmeal for dinner about twice a week. I love it and two instant packs fill me up and its only 130 calories each pack. For snacks I eat Fiber One bars, I switch it up between the chocolate and peanut butter flavors.

Nikki, its probably telling you to take in that much based on your activity level. It also calculates this based on the date entered to reach your goal. 1700 is still fine. CC says that a women shouldn't have less than 1200 and I've been trying to stick to around 1300-1600. I have alot of weight to lose and I've began to try to keep a 1000 daily calorie deficit until I reach my goal.

I agree also Nikki, CC said I should be 124 but I'm fine with 140ish, which is a lot of pounds away lol. As for tips...I've cut out sweets and soda and will start walking at least 30mins/day this week. I also try to eat off a saucer instead of a plate for portion control.

Hello,

Today is actually the first day I'm going to try a vegeterian diet, for weight loss purposes. I support the other reasons also which is why I am going to try to make it more of a permanent thing. During this frist month I'm going to only allow my self meat one day a week because I know going cold turkey is not going to be easy. I really hope to feel a difference health wise. I eventually want to only eat seafood and maybe meat on rare occasions.
