My husband and I bought a treadmill 2nd hand and we both love it. I would suggest that you know what you're looking for and what it goes for new. Ask as many questions as you need to be comfortable. |

Join a club. ASU has clubs of every shape and idea. Go hang out at the MU, SRC, Library. Don't stay in your room. I defiantly second the planning in advance as well. I plan the night before my meals and snacks so that I can get my lunch and snacks ready to take to school (I'm at ASU as well) or to work.
On a side note, what community college did you attend? What are you majoring in? I'm a math major on my last semester yeah! |

| I plan a week of dinner at the beginning of the week but not the exact night. My breakfast, lunch, and snacks are planned the night before so I can pack everything, then dinner is usually picked off the list in the afternoon. | |||

| I started here almost 2 years ago and lost some weight and then gain some back. Now I'm back on board with my husband. We both want to loose the extra pounds so that when we start our family (in a couple year) that our kids will never see us like this and so that we can set a good example for our kids :) | |||

| My roommate just made fondant. I don't know where he found the recipe but it actually tasted great. It was just marshmallows, powdered sugar and shortening. It tasted really great and look good too. The only thing I noticed that was different from the fondant (he bought some from Micheal's to compare) is that is was a little more shiny then the real fondant. I can try to get the recipe for him. Let me know :) | |||

| refried beans. make a bean salad with 1/2 a can of fat free refired beans, 6-8 oz of lettuce, and 6-7 tablespoons of reduced fat sour cream (my weakness) add a little salt, mix it all up and yummm. It doesn't look to appealing but it taste great and it's only like 350 calories. Yummy! | |||

| I'm a 22 year old female, 6'0" and 217 (down from 250) I started cc in April of 2006 lost 45 lbs in 5 months. Then feel off the wagon in a way. I still read the forums but I stopped counting. That went on for that last 7 months till I realized I was slowly gaining the weight back (though 12 lbs in 7 months isn't that bad could be a lot worse) So now I'm back ready to get serious about this again and drop to a more healthy weight level. My 1st goal is to be under 195 by Aug 15 ( I have to get fitted for my wedding dress then) and then to stay mainly constant till after the wedding. :) | |||

| I prefere valerian root, which will also help your body relax, to kava or you can try melatonin which helps sleep, both can be found at your local health food store. | |||

| Well my cheating is that if I've craving something I eat it, only instead of eating a lot I give my self a little. Ex: Ice Cream, instead of getting a bowl and eating however much I want. I measure out one serving and that's all I eat of it. I get the fix and I'm happy and it doesn't kill my calories for the day.

Well I'm still a few day short of my one month mark, but the hardest thing for me has been to get moving, and excersise. I'm still struggling with this. I work and go to school, it's hard to find the time even though I know I need to.

| For me I think it's the opposite but that's becuase I live in AZ. The winter is our great weather when you want to get out and do stuff, unlike our summer (110 degrees +) that you just want to stay indoors.
