What is happening?????? I too am late on logging in... I guess it is because what happens to me after the third week has happened again. I have lost momentum.. What do? We are all in the same boat. I can see we all have the same pattern. We need to work together to keep ourselves on track. We are our own worst enemies. I was so ashamed to log in this week cause I gained 1.5. What will make this vicious cycle stop? |

Melicious15 hang in there! at least you have been below 200. Oh I can't wait for that milestone, I haven't been there for over 6 years. You have a good excuse, Vacation. You will get back on track! As for your questions I am still pretty heavy and I have read that the more you weigh the more calories you need to consume, so I am eating between 1800 and 2000 calories. I am working out everyday as well. Usually my work out is elliptical for 30 mins and a late night power bike ride. 1 mile as fast as I can pedal around my neighborhood. Tannis I live in Washington State and the weather has been in the low 40's but I still get on my bike and go full speed. Where is SPRING?????? At least it is not snowing:) Welcome Debster, great job getting up at 5:30 and working out! Thanks for all of the encouragement. Stay strong! |

Tannis you look absolutely beautiful. On my profile I have a picture of my wedding day. I went on a crasher 3 months before the wedding and lost 15 lbs but gained a lot of it back before the Wedding. I weighed 207 in that picture in 2005. You will do great!

Welcome Lillys We are glad to have you Join. I would like to know alittle about you guys. Where do you ladies live?I live in a town called Centralia in Washington State half way between Seattle and Portland. I have lived here my whole life. Although I spent 5 years in Scottsdale AZ after highschool)
What do you do for a living? I run my father's vegetation management company from home while being a stay at home mom for my 2 kids. What do you really want to do once you reach your goal? I really want to be sexy for my husband and be able to be confident in the way I look and go shopping someplace other then the fat lady stores.
Monday is approaching! good luck.

I have been doing ok not as gung ho as I was the week of 3/8/09. (I usually lose momentum in week 2) But I have been managing to stay in my 1500- 1800 calorie range. Not sure if I should stay there or not. I am nursing and I don't want to deprive my lil one of vital nurturance. Anyone know what calories should be while nursing? I had a great weight loss last week hope I can keep it up without sacrificing anything. Welcome Hallebailey glad to have you join our group. I glad everyone is still in the race. malomadame hang in there, have fun but don't overindulge. I agree with Brwnize1967 There is always next week to make it up. melicious15 in your journal you mention a great site http://www.losertown.org/eats/cal.php you guys should check it out. keep it up, we can do this. |

Is everyone still feeling motivated? What are you doing to keep yourself on track? I found that putting an undesirable fat picture of yourself in a place were you have a tendency to overeat( car, office desk or kitchen.) will help keeping you on track. Tannis I like your Idea of sitting on an exercise ball while watch tv. You can't help but to keep moving. also breaking up your exercising routine throughout the day.
How is everyone doing so far this week? |

If you've been successful in losing weight, please answer the following questions so that I know I'm on the right track to seeing results myself: Remember any loss is that much closer to your goal. |

Two pounds is great 2babettermom. I am nursing. I think that might have something to do with my good loss this week. I also took the clothes off my elliptical trainer and decided to put it to its intended use. What kind of exercise has everyone been doing? nokapokadot I hope your arm feels better. That is a great Idea about "drink at least 8 glasses of water a day." I am definitely going to shoot for that goal. |

Wow, It is so great to see such success. One week down several more to go. Tannis great job 4 lbs is great! Mel .5 isn't so bad it could have been worse. You will probably lose the most next week. Jat at least you lost this week, so did you stay on track even though you went out for dinner? Brwn .6 isn't bad. At least you lost. Did you see Biggest Loser last week Mandi gained a lb, I suspect that she had flow too. ( love that show, It motivates me more every week.) |

Hello, I am glad to see so many joined the group. I agree with Jat about dreading summer time. I haven't wore a bathing suit with pride my whole life but I have great athletic legs when I am 50 lbs lighter, (It has been along time since I have seen them.) By summer time I will be wearing cute skirts and short. I promise. I am doing well and I can definitely feel my loss in my clothes. I want to jump on the scale so bad, but I will wait until Monday. I have dieted many times and it seems I get discouraged if I hop on the scale more then once a week. Can't wait to see how everyone did on Monday. |
