It was reading other peoples weight loss journeys that motivated me so i'm happy my story is motivating other people just like your own journeys will motivate others once you have reached the end of your own weightloss.

Great Job...a true inspiration to somebody like me who is on day one with a 35.1 BMI... Your lifestyle change accomplishment is my personal goal...Congratulations.

Never give up,you might think to yourself whats the point if its going to take so many weeks or months to lose the flab but once you get there you realise it was all worth it.

My BMI when i started was about 44 its now just over 25,my waist was 57 inches its now 35.

Weight Loss Going to try carb cycling Nov 23 2009

Hi,i only have another 4lbs to lose and i doubt i'll keep this going full time after that as i do find it hard on low carbs for 3 days at a time i might only do 2 low carb / high protein days spread over a week.

The lowcarb / high protein days are basically just protein shakes mixed with ground flaxseed and 450ml of water.I drink 5 of these a day, each drink is 300 cals 200 from the protein and 100 from the ground flaxseed.I also have a super omega 3 capsule with each shake. So all in all on these days i consume 1550 calories.

On these days i also do a brisk 4 mile walk and lift weights every other day and on the high carb day when i feel like i have more energy ive been doing a 6 mile run.

On the high carb day ive been eating 3000 calories of which i try to get as many good proteins and fruit and veg in to basically stock up for when the low carb comes around again, bread and pasta and home made pizza to.

I got the idea from the velocity diet but you do that for 28 days and no way could i manage that so just tweaked it to my liking.Protein powder is exspensive but its worth if for me anyway.

Hope that helps.

Weight Loss if i lose 80lb will i end up with saggy skin???? Nov 14 2009

I wouldnt worry that much over it as i'd rather be thin with some excess skin than heavily overweight.

I'm male 6'1 and have lost 142lbs since December last year and only have 7lbs to go and i do have some excess skin around my lower abdomen which wont shift.

Dont beat yourself up over it!

How tall are you? I'd say the shorter you are the more chance you have of having loose skin especially after dropping 80lbs.

I think we all know she's talking BS but just let it go in one ear and straight out the other and concentrate on yourself.

If she is so adamant she can eat what she likes just offer her junkfood all the time and wait and see how long it takes for her to start putting the weight back on.
