Of course they aren't, but the ones that aren't are a lot fewer and far between than where I live. |

food made me get fat, not the pill. being pregnant made me get fat, not the pill. I think a daily pill is the best bet to start with because if you find you're having side effects you aren't happy with, it's quick and easy to stop taking it and let your body go back to normal. If you try depo and it sucks you've got to wait much longer for it to get out of your system. werethylacine : funny story; a friend of mine who uses nuva ring has on more than one occasion had to remove it from the head of her bf's penis. hehe. |

I tried eating it when I was pregnant to ease nausea. It's supposed to help disgestion I guess. I doubt it's *bad* for you, but it's all done up with sugar so don't go nuts eating it. |

the cherry one is SO GOOD. get the dressing on the side - you only need to use like half or less of the dressing they give you anyway. |

I had GD mildly when I was pregnant and all I craved was sweets, too. I didn't have to do insulin, just monitored my diet. I would say YES, you have gestational diabetes. Don't stress about it too much, like wondering why you have it and have no family history or risk factors or anything. I was heartbroken because I'm healthy and so is my family. Sometimes it just happens. Watch your diet, it'll be ok. |

| Pregnancy & Parenting | Do you have a "hippie" name? | Apr 03 2009 19:38 (UTC) |

My middle name is Echo, which I hated until about 9th grade. My parents were hippies, living in a pick up truck with a house built in the bed up in the White Mountains in NH when my mom was pregnant. My dad was yodeling, they were inspired, and thus my middle name. I am VERY greatful that my first name is Sarah. |

Original Post by floggingsully: The difference is that the front knee is bearing nearly all of your weight instead of sharing it with your other knee as it normally would. The back knee is extended out and really that leg is just for balance at that point. |

Nah, this works for me. It's baby weight shedding time and I'm fed up. I'm sure everyone has a lot to say about my methods, but my metabolism doesn't get messed up by restricting. I think you all say you need to eat to lose to make yourselves feel better when you slip up and go back to your big macs and doritos.

LOL facebook is for stalking! I'm thankful I'm not working right now because I know I wouldn't get anything done because of facebook. I'm glad I've been able to find old friends from high school because I moved away and didn't look back. It's been great to get back in touch with everyone. Everytime I click "Add as Friend" I'm trying to remember if I was ever in a fight with the person, what it was about, and what they're going to think when they see I've friended them. I wasn't the nicest girl in school! |

Don't sweat it ...or actually, DO sweat it! Do a little extra excersize to sweat out that sodium overload. You'll feel SO much better about over eating. I actually used to have pizza binge night every other Friday. My bf at the time was nuts about food (ugh so THAT'S what my trigger was....) so we would hard core diet for two weeks then EACH , yes EACH get a large Domino's thincrust to ourselves. Granted, it's not as bad as a regular, but once the pizzas were gone, we moved onto Friendly's ice cream sundaes. good times. Once I get back down to my goal weight, I fully intend to implement pizza binge night back into rotation. |

Seems to me that Music Therapy, in this economy, would be the nail in the coffin of your hopes of an even barely lucrative career. I don't know what's going on in Canada, but in the US all we're hearing about is schools cutting programs left and right, including limiting library hours because they can't afford to staff it. Don't get me wrong, I think it's an admirable choice, but not exactly recession-proof. If you've got a background in engineering, the places to look into are those working in sustainable/renewable energy resources. 3-4 interviews is a drop in the bucket. I'd say you shouldn't consider yourself unsuccessful until you've gotten like 20 rejections.
