| Brenda - I'm so sorry for your loss. This must be a very difficult time for you and your family.
As far as keeping up with the exercise and proper diet, have you considered that taking care of yourself in these ways rather than allowing yourself to regress might be the best thing for you! I find exercise helps clear my mind, and make me feel better. Getting out and being active might give you time to think and could possibly help you grieve. Maybe grab your hubby and try to at least get out for a walk once a day? |

| way to go! it's always exciting to have cold hard proof that you're getting smaller! I had a similar success this weekend - went shopping and discovered that i am officially into the regular sizes at reitmans! I used to wear their plus size 18 - now i'm down 3 sizes to a 15!! Yippee!! | |||

| Who the heck knows?
I would guess that their something like 20-25 calories each. So thats 120 - 150 calories. Not the end of the world I guess. I just gave the remainder of the bunnies away to a co-worker so I couldn't eat them too! |

| Yo!
You are the perfect weight for your height and age! I'm sure you look great! If I were in your shoes I'd just focus on leading a healthy lifestyle which will hopefully carry over into adulthood. Try not to worry so much about weight. Just keep eating right, stay active, and enjoy being young and fit!! |

| everyone has to develop a plan that works for them, and i think it's a really good idea to start by going to see your doctor. i did the same when i finally decided to get serious about losing weight about a month ago. i've been running 3 times a week since january and it was going well, but i figured i needed all the help i could get!
anyways - congratulations with the weight loss so far, and the positive changes you are making in your own life! |

| Foods | Diet Pepsi saved my day! | Apr 02 2006 00:52 (UTC) |

| Wow! I love Diet Pepsi too, but i'm afraid you're becoming an addict! I don't think you have to be a health professional to know that 3-4 servings of aspartame a day probably isn't the best for you!
Also need to consider the fact that orange juice has nutritional value that diet pepsi doesn't. I'm not a coffe drinker, but I'm wondering if changing the milk in your coffee to non-fat might help, along with cutting back on the amount of sugar or switching to a natural sweetener? Don't know what at say about substitues for booze... it all has calories and many people enjoy a few social drinks in a week.... I just try to alternate alcoholic beverages with water when i go out - i'm usually thirsty from dancing and need fluids, but having everyother drink water hydrates my body and cuts back on calories - plus it keeps me from going overboard.... ha. Anyhoo. Just a few thoughts. |

| Yeah, I lean towards comedies and chick flicks too. Typical girl I guess! Last book I read was "It's called a break up because it's broken!" You guessed it - I am recently single - six weeks and counting! So right now, what i am "in to" is Me! Ha.
Really focusing on getting in shape, keeping up my running (started in January), and eating well. Trying to get out there and meet new people - amazing how your social circle can dwindle while dating someone seriously! Also working towards my professional designation - one exam to go!! Whoo hoo!!! |

| I think that it is such a fantastic show! I love the characters, the outfits, the men! Ha. I think most women our age (or at least most single women) can relate to that show, or one of the characters.
I see your from brooklyn - spend much time in Manhattan? I've never been to New York but I'd really like to. A highschool friend lives there, so it would be cool to visit him. It also just occured to me that perhaps i should make running the NYC Marathon (or maybe just a half marathon) my running goal! |

| A lady behind me and my now ex-boyfriend in line at the grocery store asked if i was pregnant! I was mortified. That motivated me enough to start working out and trying to eat better. The real turning point for me though was six weeks ago when my boyfriend and i broke up. I was forced to look at my life and think about what i like and don't like and i decided what i didn't like was me! So i'm doing something about it. | |||

| i just re read my post and realised i completely mixed up the running/walking. Ha! it's early...
started with cycles of 1min RUNNING and 5 min WALKING now up to 7.5min RUNNING and 2.5 min WALKING goal: 9min RUNNING and 1 min WALKING May never drop the walking. I have heard that even some marathon runners take this approach. Helps the muscles to rejuvinate. |
