I am in highschool hehe (: i sit all day during school but i cant sit still and when i get home i cant seem to control my urges to be up. I dont particularly excersise but i walk, play with my dog, clean, and im just totally restless. It helps me to hear what other people do for motivation (: Thanks for the options, I LOVE paint by numbers!

thanks so much i just cant get myself to eat carbs! ugh like i count everything (dairys and all) into my carbs and if i have over a certain amount i cant control myself and have the worst urges to excersise. i look at the what did you eat today forum and im so jealous that people have such strength and will power to just eat healthy carbs.

Hey Karina! I'm back as well :(

I just got out of renfrew after being dropped because of stupid insurance. I'm doing well on my own but i struggle with using my symptoms :( I need some good ideas for eggs in the morning because i do the same thing all the time! Also, i find myself not switching up my food and allowing myself to get comfortable with many foods. I neeeed help! (: Its hard for me to stick to my startch exchanges since i am a huge protein freak because its the only food group i feel comfortable with. I want to let myself enjoy carbs again! :( Also, i have to make breakfast extremly overwhelming since i cant fit a snack into school. I hate it because after i eat i just think about it all day during school and it makes me want to restrict for lunch which i dont want to do!

Breakfast: 1/2 cup of oatmeal with peaches brown sugar and cinnamon (first time having oatmeal in forever! HUGE CHALLENGE!) 1 light english muffin with turkey Keibalsi canadian bacon and turkey sausage mozzerella cheese and 2 eggs. ketchup for dipping. 1/2 cup fat free cottage cheese and 3 tbsp mixed nuts (950 cals)

Lunch: 1 whole wheat pita 1/2 with tuna salad and 1/2 with shrimp salad topped with mozerella cheese lettuce and tomato. Apple with 2 tbsp Natural Peanut butter (550)

Snack Chobani greek yogurt with cinnamon and glazed walnuts. Salmon Burger with Spinach (350)

Dinner: 1 slice sesame ezekial bread with oil and roasted pepper. 4 oz chicken with ricotta spinach spagetti squash and garlic. (370)

going out to a sweet sixteen so chose a light dinner. Planning on eating there and challenging myself!

Snack: W.W Waffles and Icecream with dark chocolate/ almond butter melted ontop (:

Hey Karina.

You should try having your mom count your calories or someone who is around while you eat since I know you told me you have good support from your mom. Also plan out meals with your nutritionist to make sure your getting enough in. As for the period many girls get theirs while they are still underweight but you could just be having other problems. Check it out with the doctor.

If you have a fear of saturated fats, I will tell you this: Saturated fats are NECESSARY for a recovering anorexic. They help rebuild lost brain mass and restore cellular integrity. Much like newborns and toddlers, you are essentially redeveloping your body, and you need the saturated fats for proper restoration.

Hey Rebel! Thanks so much that was great information. I do have a small fear of carbs/ saturated fats but i have come a long way! My cheese is part skim and I try make sure I have large amounts of fat since I want my period but I still have a huge fear of oil. I also enjoy nut butters and did an experiment which was quite delicious! (apples with melted peanut butter all in a pan nice and hot (:) anyways, I am having a hard time with things like high fat granola and such because of oil. I knw its good for you but for some reason I cant adapt myself to it yet. I have tried granola but only low fat :/. Your meals always look delicious (: I have tried the cocunut in greek yogurt and I was in heaven! Thanks so much!

haha yeah bad choice on my part, next time (yes there will be a next time (:) im going to microwave strawberry jelly and try some of that.

i loooooove muffins, havent had one since ed started though, ill work on it.

i heard cream cheese and cinnamon and sugar is a good mixture but of course butter works just as well

today i had a pancake with portein powder mixed in! i was sooo proud, i havent had pancakes in like foreverrr. it was whole wheat with strawberries pineapple AND CHOCOLATE SYRUP (sugar free but hey its still chocolate!) i was amazed that i had the strength to eat and also enjoy it!

for dinner i had a cup of milk AND a sweet potato! i was so proud of myself! (of course i had more but i always fuss about eating carbs and drinking milk)

Omonica, i totally know what you are talking about except im alot worse. i wouldnt even have a couple of my friends hard pretzels today...

i say to myself you cant have that but in reality i should enjoy eating alot right now i mean think about it, who doesnt want to eat alot?! enjoy the whole brownie and just make people look completly jealous that you can eat something like that without even thinking about the cals.

we can do this girlss :D

haha im a hugeee carb freak too i can never feel comfortable eating any of them! for some reason the only carbs i will have are a sweet potato (VERY small) or some type of low carb bread. i want to start trying to incorperate more carbs so i can make this weight gain go quicker! my dad got mad at me today because he weighed me and the scale hasnt moved :( soo...

haha i know i shouldnt be in a good mood since you guys all probably think im not trying to gte better but i really am.

today i had 500 clas at every meal and a glass of light soy milk in between.

i dont know if each meal was 500 but it came close to it. im sorry to frustrate you guys i just like seeking help and ive gone to my doctor who doesnt help as much as you guys. i just thought since i see all of your great inspiring posts on everyone elses pages, that i might get some in return. sorry for upsetting you guys and hopefully my next post will be a good one. i havent even had my snack yet (which is usually my biggest meal of the day) and ive already hit about 1,500 cals for the day.

I'm Ashley, 5'1 and 89 lbs, 14 yrs old.

I lost my period in October and I hardly even noticed it was gone. I was restricting myself and dropped to 89 from 115. Ive been trying to get my period back for 4 months, eating CRAP LOADS of pb (finish a jar in 2 days) and been adding good fats to my diet. i havent gained yet but hopefully i will soon. Ive heard iron supplements or iron rich foods help. drink milk because calcium and vitamin d also play a big part in your period. it will help to keep gaining weight because your still very light for your height keep up with the good diet and it will be back soon.

A really great parfait!

i really enjoy cottage cheese with jelly mixed in (good protein) or yogurt on the bottom with nuts and grapes on that layer than strawberry jello than the next layer is strawberries with go lean cereal than whipped cream and sugar free hersheys chocolate syrup...

its sooooo good (: i know it sounds like alot but its great!

 

EDIT: or you can have frozen whipped cream with sliced bananas and strawberries with some chocolate (sugar free) syrup and vanillla bean almonds (my favorite!) and its like a banana split (:

oh my gosh! i had orange juice, hot chocolate made with milk, couscous and a banana all in one day! half of my fear foods, and im not even worrying about it! IM SOOO HAPPY!

up your cals slowly and lessen excersise, im guessing you dont have your period for a low bmi so please up the cals, you want to be healthy right? in addition, every woman looks great with a healthy body. im sure the boney look isnt the most attractive (: please build a good relationship with food, you only have one life to live! instead of excersisng all the time spend time with friends or family and things like that. good luck and email me anytime!
