just suck it up and move on. seriously, a binge is not the end of the world and you're most likely not going to gain any real weight from it. learn from your mistakes and make a prevention plan for next time. evaluate the problem.. is your diet missing anything? are you eating enough? enough of everything? are you exercising too much? do you eat when you're emotional? bored? stressed? angry? lonely? what can you do so that you won't binge again?

don't be so hard on yourself.. we've all been there, done that.. just keep going.

OBVIOUSLY your appetite is increasing.. you're using up more energy and so your body requires more energy. make sure you're eating enough for the amount of exercise you're doing. don't expect to eat 1200 cals, exercise 5-6 times a week and be okay. if you don't like having such a huge appetite, cut back on your exercise a little.. if not, then simply eat more.

i read naturally thin the week it came out and i loved it! it's honestly the only book i've found that explains all the principles i follow. i highly recommend it to everyone on this site :)

stop trying to make your body reach a weight it doesn't want to reach. if you can't get under 110 lbs and maintain it easily, then it's not a good weight for you.

do you ever incorporate these foods into your typical diet? when you're not binging? if you don't, then you're restricting them.. and that's why you're binging on them. have bread as part of a meal.. allow yourself sweets as snacks when you crave them.. eat "unhealthy foods" once in a while. when you make a decision to incorporate these foods into your diet, the need to binge on them will go away because your body won't feel deprived.

also, if you haven't had your period in so long, that is a sure sign that your body is missing something. it's probably craving the nutrients it needs to get you healthy again.. don't fight it. are you eating enough fats? those really help out in getting back your period.

but most importantly, are you eating enough? you should be getting atleast 1500 calories a day.. if you're not, you should really try to if you want to stop the binges.

if you didn't eat such a low amount of calories (1200) and restrict the whole day because you were going to go out for dinner, you wouldn't have binged.. duh.

besides 2500 calories is nothing. i eat that much to maintain my weight! sorry to break it to you, but if you keep eating so little, it will backfire on you and you will gain weight. if you don't believe me, go find all those posts people make saying "i'm gaining weight! but i never go over 1200 calories and i exercise a lot!" stop messing around with your intake, and just find how much you really need and eat that (if you're under 21 or if you exercise, it should definitely be atleast 1500). when you stop undereating, the uncontrollable overeating episodes will dissappear, i promise. good luck Smile

first of all, fat itself doesn't make you gain weight.. an excess of calories does. calories in > calories out = weight gain. it doesn't matter if those calories come from peanut butter or carrots.

second, 1241 calories is nothing.. you should probably be eating more than that anyway (especially if you're under 21 or if you exercise). use the cc calorie calculator to determine how many calories you need to lose weight and don't go under that amount. if you keep eating so little your metabolism will slow down, and you will gain weight. then you'll be one of those people that makes a "omg, why am i gaining weight!? i only eat 1200 calories a day and exercise 5 times a week!!!!" post.

oh, i forgot to add another one. it's not really a tick or habit, it's just kinda strange..

i classify numbers/letters as either male or female.

male:

  • numbers: 1,3,5,6,9,10
  • letters: b,d,e,g,o,p,q,r,s,w,x,z

female:

  • numbers: 2,4,7,8
  • letters: a,c,f,h,i,j,k,l,m,n,t,u,v,y

  • i only fall asleep with music/tv on/people talking and with a fan on
  • i take multiple choice exams backwards
  • i don't like when people cough/sneeze a lot
  • my favorites folders have to be perfect.. i have a ton of folders
  • i'm always checking the random articles on wikipedia
  • i don't leave the house without washing my face
  • i spend endless hours doing nothing at barnes and noble
  • i have to make a grocery list even though i always get the same things and i know them by heart

lol, yeah i know what you mean! i'm kinda picky about some candies too. i don't like the black jelly beans, purple jolly ranchers, clear gummi bears or those nasty tropical flavored starburst! Yell 

the yellow/green (lemon/lime) flavors of all candies are my favorite.. yumm Smile
