I haven't posted in so long! Hi guys, I hope everyone has been doing well and making progress! :) Breakfast: 1 packet oatmeal cooked in chocolate protein powder, hemp milk, and 1 tbsp. french vanilla cappuccino powder. Topped with: blueberries, soy nuts, 1 tbsp. almond butter, and 1 crumbled Nature Valley pecan crunch bar. A glass of skim milk. Lunch: 1 c. lentils with a side sandwich of whole wheat bread, 3 italian tofurky slices, and muenster cheese. 2 mini cookies and almonds. Snack: Oh Yeah! protein chocolate milkshake and a Chia Goodness Weil Bar Dinner: 1 Amy's quarter pound veggie burger inside an Ezekiel english muffin with laughing cow swiss cheese and Smart Balance mayo. A side salad of spinach and tomato with olive oil. Snack: 1 apple and a bowl of full fat yogurt with 1 tbsp. peanut butter and a deep chocolate vita top. |

Agru: Yes, I am on a plan with my nutritionist alternating between 2500 and 3000 on workout days. Do my meal plans never sound like enough? I never understand why they don't. I am not sure if you are aware but the broccoli cheese soup at tgi is 500+ calories. A cup of 2% milk is 120, I always have 12 oz., Carnation Instant Breakfast is 240... my wrap alone was 500 and based on the ingredients I listed in my wrap, it clearly was not low calorie. I don't see how they don't clearly add up? Thanks for looking out though.
Yesterday... B: 2 thick slices of German Ginger Cake (cake for breakfast! :O) with 1/2 tbsp. Smart Balance and lingonberry preserves, 2% milk, Greek yogurt topped with blueberries and almonds L: A bowl of pinto beans, 1/2 c. quinoa, green beans and pistachios, a plum S: Kind Fruit & Nut Delight bar, 8 oz. vanilla soy milk D: 12 pc. brown rice tuna roll, 8 oz. minestrone soup, calamari salad, a peach with yogurt S: 1 packet instant oatmeal cooked in 6 oz. vanilla soy milk, 1/2 c. pumpkin, 1 oz. pumpkin seeds

Kashi Apple Orchard granola mixed into 3/4 c. plain yogurt with 1/2 oz. sunflower seeds and 1/2 oz. pistachios. 2% milk. An Apple. L: La Madeleine tuna salade, spinach salad (no bacon!), vegetable soup S: Chocolate soy milk and German wafer cookies D: Grilled cheese! (2 slices 100% ww bread, 4 slices american cheese, bit of butta), 1 c. tomato soup. German fruit gummies, 1 tbsp. almond butter S: 1/2 c. I am kind of scared guys... I've been eating a lot at night. Will this affect me?

PB on other; 1 egg L: Veggie "ham" wrap (whole wheat tortilla, lightlife "ham" slices, cheddar and american cheese, tomatoes, mushrooms, mayo, carrots) , Raspberry Brown Cow Cream Top yogurt (SOGOOD), and apple S: Think Thin bites (2), carrots, 2% milk D: A bowl of TGI's broccoli cheese soup S: Peach S: Clif Zbar Spooky Smores, more 2% milk :) Edit: JUST had Chocolate soy milk. B: 2 homemade high protein cinnamon waffles topped with 1/2 c. fresh blueberries, 1/2 plain yogurt, plenty of blueberry syrup, and a Carnation Instant breakfast S: Kind bar (almond, walnut, and macadamia), coffee L: Full order of edamame, miso soup, Shogun's veggie roll S: Apple, peanut butter & jelly greek yogurt (1 container greek yogurt, 2 tbsp. peanut butter, 1 tbsp. jelly) Pre- ballet: Boost protein plus drink D: 1/2 c. baked beans, collard & swiss chard, corn bread, and sweet potatoes. 1 c. 2% milk. Handful of almonds S: Bowl of Kashi heart to heart cereal in 1 c. vanilla soy milk, grapes, and 1 plum I feel like I ate quite a bit today. I actually allowed myself to listen to my body :)

Yes, that is your ED going into panic mode. When I get uncomfortable with something I eat, I get explodingly full after two bites. I know that it can't be real though because I doubt two bites of a cookie will make me feel like I ate a horse. Eating disorders have an amazing power over the human body since they are psychological and the brain controls everything.
smwipple's advice rocks! :)
Just eat whatever your ED tells you not to. You will be surprised at how proud of yourself you will feel. I plan on eating pizza tonight for the first time in a year! |

I'm gaining weight right now and I was told to avoid cardio. It burns far too many calories. If you plan on eating alot, alot, alot though, it shouldn't be a problem. But you would have to A LOT. |

It IS BS. I lost weight thinking it would make me happy, now I am underweight with an eating disorder and am drastically unhappy. People should go into weight loss looking to improve their health (which in the end, will improve happiness), but not thinking they will be happy just because they will be thin. That is disordered thinking. |
