Hey poupe8061, I was wondering how you have been succesfully losing the weight. I checked out your starting weight and I am in that same position and I need some advice and motivation. I was thin before and now i just seem stuck at this 150 -147 lb. weight and I can't move it. Thanks in advance

Hello everyone, here is a little about me. I am 27. I was thin for a very long time and then over the last 5-6 months I gained an amount of weight that I am not happy about so I am here to get rid of it and keep it off. I was always around 115 lbs and now I am 147lbs as of this morning. I want to be 120lbs and then I will see from there. I get frusterated at times because I can't seem to get rid of the weight I have gained. So that is me, I work out regularly and now I am really trying to get my food into check. I am not big on carbs or pasta type foods, i love fruit and vegtables and cheese, and my bid downfall is wine. I love good wine. So I need to work on cutting that way back and cutting way back on the cheese and really just any unecessary sugar in general. So that is me. I will be here as much as I can and I was wondering when do you guys all weigh in here? What day and time?

Hello everyone, I just joined this post I am 147 as of this morning and I am going to get to 120!! My goal is 115, but 120 would ROCK!!!! So I am here to say that I am going to achieve this goal with all of you. Yesterday was a good day and so far today has been a good day. I just need to keep this trend up. Helllo All

Hey, I am on the East side and it has been raining over here for days where I am at, I have been stuck inside eating and watching the scale go up and my pants getting tighter. Any workouts that I can do inside, along with living in a small house and other people live with me.

I have a questio for you, what is your height and all that?  A agree it seems to hard to eat more to lose more and I am in a similiar situation.  I lost weight and was feeling great and then i put it back on and now i can not seem to lose even a pound in fact I believe that i am gaining. I can not stand the way that i look or feel and I hate everything about myself.  I dont even want to be seen in public anymore.

THank you guys for the replies.  I was thinking of a spa day or a braclete that I could get engraved on.  I wish that I could take her and I out and to the spa but I live on the West Coast right now and her on the East Coast. SO getting together is out for right now.  But thank you, I think ya the braclet.

OK, I love f/f cottage cheese with purple grapes, and s/f syrup!!

Also I love f/f cheddar cheese melted with a little splenda sprinkled on top.

I was just readin threw this and I am having the same problem and I as well do it in secret.  I live with my mom and her husband and I eat well and then I binge when they go to bed, I eat and eat and eat and I hate the way that it makes me feel and then I throw out the trash after the leave the next morning, so they don't see it.  I am trying hard to stop this because I know it is wrong. This is so hard for me and I hate that.

I hear you on this. I may not restrict as much as you throughout the week, but the binge weekend cycle that you are on is one that I am trying very hard to stop as well. I find that I will do so well and then I will have a binge that will last a couple of days and all my hard work is lost and then I start again and over ond over. I am trying to see what causes these binges and what to do to stop them, but like you the happen every week. Lets work through this together. What do you think? Should we band together and take a stand against the cycle? Let me know. A little encourgment and help could not hurt and this way, we can turn here and try and stop the cycle.

Yes, I have been trying to do better and eating more. I have added some more veggies and fruit with cottage cheese. It is just so hard when I look at myself naked and it looks so gross to want to eat more, but I dont want to be unhealthy. So I am trying. How are you doing? Sorry it has been a couple days, when the weather gets bad my internet goes on the fritz. But i am here today.

Ok,,,,You make sense and I am going to try it. I need to try it, I am not healthy right now, I mean I am, but I am not. Does that make sense. I need to get my mind healthy and add more food into my diet. I need to not be afraid to eat, because not eating enough is not working at all. Balanced meals throughout the day. i can do this and I will and I will post it. To keep me accountable, I dont want this to consume my life like it has I want to be normal and healthy and eat around people and the right amounts of food. Thank you for being here.

No.....we can do this....I know that I am just afraid to up my calories but I will try. I dont eat meat as well, so I eat a lot of egg whites and fish products, or cottage cheese. Things like that with protein in them. Let's just keep talking and see if we can get through this and see where it leads us. Heck we might get suprised upping the calories might work. I don't think so but heck what have I got to lose except about 20 lbs. Hee Hee hee

I know.....I understand how you feel and it seems that we are not doing the right thing. It seems that we need to eat more to lose more and I am having the hardest time wrapping my brain around that and actually thinking that it will work. I am just so afraid to try and see what happens, but nothing is working right for me by not eating that much. I just am so confused and frusterated and I am afraid almost to eat more. I know that in the begginig it is going to seem like I am just gaining the weight faster and I dont want to get any bigger at all.

How much do you weigh now that you think that you need to lose more. I know what you mean about feeling guilty if you cant work out and then not wanting to eat to make it not as bad.

I added you to my friends list. How many calories are you taking in each day and how much are you burning each day? I am sorry about all the questions but I am just so nervous to up my calories so much. I know that I need to do something different though, even though I think that if I eat less I will lose more. I am stuck at this thinking process.

When you started to eat more did you gain weight at first? I am so afraid that I will get even bigger faster. What do you do for excerising? This is just making me crazy. How many calories where you taking in and for how long? I am just so afraid to eat more and get bigger. Any help will be better I am just so afraid and I feel so bad about the way I look and then I want to eat less...Well I am sure that you are aware of the cycle.

I am just so super frusterated and I dont know what kind of doctor should I go and see? I feel emberresed and stupid and I dont want to seem like I am one of those self consumed people but this has consumed me and I feel like I am not goin to make it.

I LOVE Cottage Cheese. I put in some grapes and then some sugar free maple syrup and it is the most delicoius in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!

I too am a binger. I have only since I joined this site been able to say it out loud, or I guess write it out loud. It is a serious struggle and one that most of the time prevents me from wanting to go out in public, or stay out to long becasue I hate to eat in front of people and then I just want to go home because I know I can eat then. I will already have in mind what I want to eat and then I over eat, and over eat and then over eat until my stomach hurts and then I feel so bad that I want to eat more, it is a terrible cycle. But I am working on it, I went 3 months without due to this site and then I had a binge that lasted a couple of days....I am just now getting up from the binge and trying to shake it off and start a new again.

NNNOOO, I missed it. I love that show and have so far been the only one that I know that watches it. I am in the middle of a move and do not have TV:( Let me know if they ever say when a re-run is going to play and I will try and make arrangments to watch it somewhere else. No i haven't. I will try ane change the time of day that I workout, that is hard for me though because if I dont seem to go in the moring then I wont later in the day. However....I need to try something. Also I will try and eat differnet amounts each day as you suggested and see what happens. Thank you, I am just super frusterated and am not happy without any results. Thanks again
